The fixture is 3 days away and absolutely naff all on the website & Twitter - and Ged wonders why crowds have been poor. -

Agreed. The timing of his announcement was dreadful & no doubt made early out of frustration. Another few days would have made no difference. -

A 28 point deficit which Panthers have no chance of clawing back. No Nicholls, MPT, BWD or Bacon An off race night starting at 7pm Poor weather forecast. Club up for sale. The place will be like a morgue - but I'll still be there. -
The last 4 attendances were clearly an issue for Ged. Yes they may have been ok most of the season but definite room for improvement & a need for better promotion of meetings
-
They made it clear at the beginning of the season when you applied for your ticket that semis & finals weren't included. How much warning do you need?

Absolutely nothing at all. It was always a risk running against the same team for three weeks on the trot and so it proved. Should have considered a scheme where if you produced your admission ticket from the first match at the second you got a discount/benefit, produce your admission tickets from the first & second meeting for further discounts/benefits at the third. Doesn't have to be money off at the turnstiles - centre green visits, raffles to present rider of the night, ride with the team on parade vehicle, watch a race from the refs box - things that don't cost the club anything. We were part of the MCN festival for two years running with hundreds of non speedway fans attending each time. Absolutely nothing was done that I'm aware of to interact with these people or to encourage them back. Should have been handing out discount vouchers with fixture lists, organised photograph/autograph sessions, hand out stickers/posters for the kids etc. (Something they could have done in partnership with BSPA as not all people would have been from the Peterborough area). Surprisingly there appears to be a fairly strong fan base at Peterborough and I believe attendances can improve with some effort & promotion of the meetings themselves. Our social media is virtually non existent. Other clubs promote matches by asking for retweets in return for prizes - again the prizes don't need to cost anything, they can be experiences you wouldn't normally get as a fan.

Leasing from the current owners? Need more showground dates? This has got Mick Horton & his Tuesday nights written all over it.

Presume SON is July then -
So why all the guff on the radio the other day? Said him & Carl were planning for next year already.
-
Of course that's going to happen. Ulrich & Lambert the first two names on the Redcar team sheet.
-
To be fair watching Lakeside for the 134th time this year with understrength teams which barely resembled Panthers was hardly going to pull in the masses. And where was the promotion, the big build ups? Barely anything in social media.

Lambert to Robins, Doyle to Stars

Nermany? -
Maybe it the showground was unavailable then but then became available after Redcar was announced? Perhaps the landlords were holding the date for an event which cancelled or was provisionally booked & never materialised?

I quote 'Will' from the Peterborough programme - thankfully there is a picture provided of Will so we know it is your team manager: 'My one worry is the reserves; today also sees the National League Riders Championship at Leicester with both our reserves competing. You never know what can happen when your riders are in another meeting earlier in the day, and if something does happen you have very little time to adjust. Having our reserves available tonight is key'
