Peterborough v Poole Prem Mon April 15th
Noodles replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
This is correct -
Only three home matches gone & we're out the cup & giving up on the league. Credit where credit is due, Buster has got some things right; the track is superb, meetings are run through quickly, the programme is quality & social media is much improved. However fans are fickle & this team is simply not good enough to challenge for honours and demand £18 admission fee. When is Colin Pratt going to stand up, & take some responsibility? Reading his programme notes all he does is blame everything on the previous management.

Unsurprisingly riding in Poland has never been a problem for him, it's turning up at Peterborough that has been troublesome for Jack.

Craig cook testimonial
Noodles replied to Neila's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Probably struggling to get anyone to ride for him. -
Jack missing at match at the Showground? Who'd have thought it.
-
Cheers for that. Interesting to see they are showing the qualifying for the first Grand Prix on Friday 17th May.

So why won't you and/or Ged tell us what the real story is then? You tell us it's incorrect but don't offer an alternative.

Speedway On Tv And The Internet In 2024
Noodles replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Freesports have tweeted - 'Swedish Speedway will be returning to FreeSports when the season begins, unfortunately Polish Speedway will not be making a return this season as it stands' -
Problem is we were promised Ged, Bomber & Cook and we've somehow ended up with Pratt, Tungate & Summers.
-
I was thinking this. Someone had to go so knowing what we know now, why wasn't it Cook?
-
NKI was there
-
Or a certain three?
-
Why was Cook selling advertising space he knew he couldn't deliver on? I wonder what his current sponsors think about him walking away from the top league - less exposure for them now, presume they expected to appear on BT sport?

Premiership Supporters Cup
Noodles replied to ZagarRacing's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The BSPA have confirmed arrangements for the 2019 Premiership Supporters’ Cup. The competition replaces the top flight’s Knockout Cup this season and enables fans to have a direct influence on meetings, by voting for riders to take part in heat 14. The voting will take place via each club’s official Twitter feed and enables both supporters and team managers to be involved in the process. Following heat 10 of each fixture in the competition, the team managers will provide the names of four of their riders for the heat 14 vote and these will appear as a poll on the Twitter feed of the respective clubs, allowing supporters to vote for their preferred representatives in the race. The polls will be open for 15 minutes, and the top two riders from each team in the poll will compete in heat 14. These riders, along with the riders for heat 15, will be announced following heat 13. It should be noted that riders who compete in heat 14 cannot also compete in heat 15. It will be the team managers’ decision whether to leave certain riders out of the heat 14 poll should they wish to be certain of their availability for heat 15. The format of the competition sees the Premiership clubs divided into two groups, with the winner of each group progressing to a two-legged final. Races prior to heat 14 will be run under the old 13-heat format. Group 1: Belle Vue (@TheAces), Peterborough (@PboroPanthers), Wolverhampton (@WolvesSpeedway) Group 2: Ipswich (@ipswichspeedway), King’s Lynn (@KLSpeedway), Poole (@poolespeedway), Swindon (@SwindonSpeedway) https://ipswichwitches.co/fan-vote-confirmed-in-supporters-cup/ -

Just seen the Ipswich fixture after the fours has now been put back a week - was 24th June, now 1st July.
-
No they haven't.
-
I think it's pretty obvious that Carl will step up as co-promoter.

Peterborough had away kit once - it was predominantly black & the home kit red. 2002?
