  1. Depending on speeds in his area I would imagine bog standard fibre will be sufficient for his needs. If his current TV has a spare HDMI port he will need a streaming device (e.g. fire stick, Roku Stick). If it doesn't he will need a new smart TV that can download the Discovery Plus app.
  2. They are. Discovery Plus have two different plans 'Entertainment' and 'Entertainment & Sport'. You only get the 'Entertainment' plan with Sky Q but you will need the 'Entertainment & Sport' plan to watch the speedway. Discovery Plus Plans
  3. He looked ok but can't see him breaking out of reserve. His style reminded me of Mario Jirout for some reason.
  4. It was £1 to park in the car park yesterday, as it has been for years.
  5. Classy. Either: Buy a new tv or Buy a streaming device and free up a port on your existing tv or Accept you can't watch the Grand Prix. It doesn't matter how many times you check your TV or how much you moan, it ain't going to change unless you do something about it.
  6. Urrghh not this again. You say you aren't bothered but you keep going on about it. You have been given loads of advice but you poo-poo every option you are given.
  7. Adults £20 Concession £18 Kids 10-16 years £8 Kids under 10 years FREE Programme £4
  8. I'm sure I read somewhere that they'd prefer card payment today.
  9. James Sarjeant for Thomas Jorgensen Steve Worrall for Kyle Howarth Rchard Lawson for Charles Wright Benjamin Basso for Anders Rowe
  10. Peterborough signed Summers on a short term contract whilst we looked for a heat leader. One was never found, Summers stayed all season & it was a disaster.
  11. If it was the full Panthers team then I might have considered it but not paying £12 to watch a Panthers select.
  12. I disagree. Matches at Peterborough are run swiftly, unless their is inclement weather or crashes of course.
  13. If you have a smart TV download the Discovery Plus app, alternatively buy a Firestick or Roku.
  14. The 'sport' in Discovery's Entertainment & Sport package is the same content as Eurosport Player. At the moment the apps co-exist but eventually Discovery will turn off Eurosport Player. New subscribers can only subscribe to Discovery Plus but it seems legacy subscribers to Eurosport Player can still renew with that, which I was surprised about.
  15. As I went to cancel my Eurosport Player subscription yesterday, they offered me another 12 months for £19.99 so I have done that. Not sure when they are turning it off but if it's during the next 12 months hopefully they will port me over to Discovery Plus.
  16. So we'll be paying £25 a month instead of £25 a year.
  17. Agree. We're staying in the city centre but we've got to get back for the kids & work the next day.
  18. Bjerre will be fine....until the play-offs.
