  1. cant see Coventry being too happy to lose Harris AND King ??? Hopefully there's no swap deal planned Meanwhile news of heat-leader signing(s) would be much more interesting news ... King and Harris are only good 2nd string at best imo.....
  2. .This week's Speedway Star suggests the same - so seems hopeful
  3. Agreed - and im not predicting anything lol i was saying exactly the opposite in fact - no-one can say what mightve happened whoever they support , but we are all entitled to our opinions, and mine is that it would probably have been much closer if Lynn had a full team and not relying on half-a*** guests yet again! Maybe if Lynn had used Tungate and Poole had King things may've been different ...no-one knows
  4. Yes we may have been closer midway so unable to use TR but that only added 2pts to our total anyway .... but if we'd only been a few down at that stage no-one can say how far down we'd have been nearer the end, especially if Porsing hadnt had to withdraw ......
  5. Hopefully our promotion know already who is worth keeping thanks ....... and Iversen would likely have scored twice as much as King -and Rose is a lot better rider this year than Kerr so unlikely to not score - so would have likely been a lot closer result imo ....
  6. Lol? ...how about wondering what the score might've been if Niels and Lewis Rose had been riding?? Our guests were virtually ineffective again last night... the lack of team regulars once again being the main reason why Lynn have lost 6 times at home this year!
  7. true he's probably a cheap option but is he so hard up he accepts a booking even while injured?? Thats just stupid cos hes hardly going to be at his best!!
  8. omg hope not - hes been a hopeless guest twice already recently.... why we keep asking him beats me... there must be someone else
  9. yes agreed - whether yu mean Harris or Branford ..... both have been poor guests recently what does it matter though - another tonking is inevitable ......
  10. After last week's debacle would be no surprise if we struggle to win yet again ..... but its bound to be close whichever way it goes
  11. as others have said.....a totally abysmal performance from the 'Stars' last night ..... and obvious from the start that it was going to be another struggle with NKI getting 5-1'd in ht1 closely followed by a ducks-egg for Rob in ht3 ....there's no realistic way back when your top 2 get so easily beaten :/ The rest were their usual lack-lustre selves albeit with plenty of effort from the reserves - whose 15pts would have maybe given Lynn some hope if the top 5 had got more than 25 between them!! We've been under-strength all year and can only hope theres a clear-out for 2017
  12. well yeah - would be no surprise really if we lost yet another home match - i was just being optimistic for a change
  13. Whatever - Tungate is in good form atm so an excellent replacement ....... ....hopefully Star's morale still good after last night's surprising result at BVue so hopefully they can deal with it
  14. plus ofc its still mathematically possible for Lynn too . Well if you live in Cloud cuckoo Land like Rob Lyon seems to.....
  15. can't understand why some are surprised that swindon won!!!!?? yet another patched-up Lynn side had no chance.....even Kai getting some points for a change didn't make any difference...... Niels has given up it seems but the rest were mediocre at best. its good of Harris to turn up ofc but if he's unfit he'll not be at his best so why bother? 9+1 from 5 rides is no replacement for Lanbert. Plus ofc Kerr was no substitute for Rose and it was nfair on Bailey to expect much from him. Lynn have been under strength all season so no great surprise that this was our 4th home loss! Terrible season
  16. don't worry ..another home loss on the cards methinks.... have a good day!
  17. Well hope you're right but another patched up Lynn side doesn't fill me with confidence!! Harris was a hopeless guest at Poole last week so he needs to be much better if his score is to match Rob Lambert's !! While Kerr should be ok for Rose (althogh the latter has been very impressive recently...) , Josh Bailey is an unknown at EL level so not a team to inspire much optimism for a home win imo.
  18. You what !!!!?? If Poole don't win against this poor attempt at a Lynn side they never will
  19. doesnt look like much chance of rain-off tonight so i suppose this farce will go ahead ........and no doubt Poole will think theyre marvellous getting 4pts......... Lynn will do well to get any more than last night imo....... what an utter shambles this sport has become....
  20. Thats not the point lol .... the opposition 6+7 EDRs shouldnt have to face such experienced riders in the reserve races! Ive no objections to EDRs riding in the top 5 but riders like Pedersen/Karlsson/ R.Worrall/ Sedgemen/Klindt etc should NOT be able to drop down! There should be 3 EDRs per team and they should fight it out between themselves for a top 5 position.
  21. i see the ridiculousness of speedway rules prevail again tonight with Ellis going into the team and Bjarne Pedersen going at no 6 ???!!! Crazy
  22. announcements??? it was pretty damn clear what was going on surely???
  23. Yes - that explains it as he didnt give a damn about rider safety in his riding days
  24. Amazed at some ppl's comments against Buster on here Its the referee who decides whether the match goes ahead, but despite the protests of all riders he still decided it should go ahead.... Buster has therefore got to comply and do his best to get it safe and raceable. Unfortunately all the hard work was wasted as the riders were still not happy, and quite rightly too as its their welfare they're thinking about - something the ref apparently couldn't care less about. So the delays were therefore unavoidable but Buster still apologised profusely to all the supporters and has offered use of readmission tickets for ANY meeting till end of season or total refunds if thats no good. Both offers are way above what the rules stipulate....so how anyone can have a bash at him is just ridiculous Yes the meeting should've been called off before heat 1 but blame the idiot ref for god's sake!!
