  1. so its deadline day +1 for a signing and STILL nothing from Lynn ... and they expect ppl to flock in to watch .............. what? r/r for Holder? the same old Batchelor?? Pffft - no imagination whatsoever....
  2. yep - until the bypass appeared we always came that way. Theres some interesting bends and a level crossing but it'll definitely avoid A10 queues
  3. on reflection its likely a misprint ... shhould say 'Holder R/R i'd guess ?
  4. we can only hope its a mistake .... but if it isnt he owes everyone a 15 point max
  5. Hope this is called off too ,,,, my enthusism is at a very low ebb atm indeed ... unless ofc a new signing is unveiled....
  6. After batchelor's mediocre performance at Leicester I can't see how he cannot be sacked - in any other business he would as he's simply not doing his job Palm-Toft would be a more than adequate replacement and presumably cheaper than a Pole. However, Holder needs the boot too so an established Pole or Dane( or from anywhere tbh ) is needed if only to show supporters the promotion are not as apathetic as they seem. So c'mon Buster get your moth-eaten wallet out !
  7. you missed the rain? - were you in the bar or something? It started when the match started... albeit light rain but persistent ... and after a few heats the track was greasy and there was little racing. and was Also the likely cause of the pile up in ht 6 when Jorgensen spun (credit to him btw for not whinging even so) then ht 9 and it all kicked off. and then came the track work. so yes rain was root of the probs .... (not helped ofc by the bloody ref who visited the pits too late to diffuse the moans ). And yes the times early on proved the track didn't stop the riders going fast(not that thats a reason for enjoying speedway is it?). Anyway I've had enough of this bickering - i have a meal to eat and looking forward to NOT enduring what would no doubt have been a waste of time + money tonight instead of a proper speedway meeting. You,re entitled to your opinions ofc but so am I ... so bibi - have a nice evening
  8. Yes I'm sure the meeting would have been fantastic ... a wet track was the root of the problems last week so he'd not want any more whinges would he ?
  9. So youre happy to see the tractors go round and no racing? ...each to their own I guess ... and yes more rain was forecast y'day so why risk it?
  10. Can't understand why people are moaning about an early call-off when the track would be drenched after last night's rain with more forecast? Buster could probably make it rideable but who wants to see that? The fans want to see racing surely and if he's expecting a good crowd after last week he knows thats unlikely to happen in such circumstances so good call a.f.a.i.c
  11. well i blame the ref....... its only speculation ofc but it seemed that the riders (or some of them) wanted the track improved and wanted the ref to sanction it but he didnt visit the pits immediately so the riders got cheesed off thus Kai + Rob didnt appear for ht9 and were excluded. Only then was it announced hat the ref was going to pits and sure enough Buster started on the track. Unbelievably though the ref didnt rescind the exclusions even though he'd finally agreed with the riders. The situation ofc wasnt helped by Holder only doing one more heat and Batchelor's withdrawal even though they'd got their way and it was no problem apparently for the rest of the team. So Holder was right to voice his concerns but wrong if indeed he was coercing others to agree with him. Whether we'll find out what actually happened though who knows ??? We can only guess .....
  12. more likely Swindon? ...and a big yes to Lebedevs
  13. lol - it would be a surprise if he didnt.... its probably been planned for months ....
  14. whatever heat it was, he got what he deserved imo even if it was for just 'threatening not to ride') and you can bet he was urging the rest of the team to do the same....hopefully we'll sign someone more reliable for the last couple months of the season..... hopefully Polish .... and i don't mean a swap for Ksprzak)
  15. with r/r for Kai and Kerr for Rose plus Worrall for Holder this meeting could turn out to be a tight affair ....
  16. 'better form at home' particularly for Robert - his gating continues to let the team down sometimes ..... ....as it did in ht15 at Poole also ... but that was the manager's fault ofc
  17. I'd been suggesting him as a signing for over a year... so yes definitely a(nother) missed opportunity Same with Zmarzlik before he ended up with B'ham but yet another chancepassed by It seems no-one at Lynn takes any notice of up'n'coming riders from abroad.. I suppose the promising US riders in world cup will be ig nored too ....
  18. not so much 'dropped' ... lust would have gone for him instead of Jorgensen due to his top league knowledge and of Lynn ....if aves allowed ofc ....
  19. Ho-hum ...... oncegain Lynn miss out on an inspired signing with Przedpelski off to Leicester ah well there's still Lebedevs, Zmarzlik, Sczepaniak, D udek and a a couple of Pawlickis still up for grabs I suppose but I won't hold my breath waiting for us to sign one of 'em. We'll have to be happy with just getting an average 2nd tier rider I guess....Ho-hum....
  20. quite agree ... Just like the TR rule now and the old TS was
  21. no probs with Ayres ... we actually were quick off the mark with his signing for a change, and Jorgensen isnt a bad signing but he's only a 2nd division rider and there were 1st division riders available I.e Tungate/ Sedgemen who might have done a better job (IF the averages allowed ofc). Jorgensen needs to be given a chance ofc ... and he might turn out to be brilliant but less of a good bet than the other 2(imo)
  22. so yet another team (rye) strengthens up and still Lynn sit on their hands would be somewhat annoying though if kennett was signed ....
