Were any even there? I thought the crowd was made up of Leicester and Berwick fans with a couple of Sheffield fans stuck in the middle -
Best stick an L on end of the link or it won't work!

Says more about the Leicester fans than Hally. Most people have a day off work for a family members wedding. Sorry, for a moment there I thought speedway riders were normal human beings like the rest of us -
Bit of a whooshy moment there, I must say

I heard a rumour Machin is off to Australia.....

Would you agree with: 1. Masters 2. Haines 3. Wells 4. North 5. Grajczonek 6. Lambert 7. Sarjeant As much as I like Skiddy, I think it'd be better for him if he changed his home track. A move to Scunny could do wonders for him, which could free up Birks for us Didn't know about Grajczonek leaving Glasgow.
-
You can see Grajczonek suddenly leaving Glasgow?
-
Grajczonek? North? Possibly Wells in place of Masters.

I'm pretty sure last year he said he wanted to be back at Sheffield.......

My team was realistic

Anybody took their washing in yet? -
Everyone always jumps on the Garry Stead meeting when talking about Lee, but I'll always remember him for his first meeting for Sheffield. He didn't score many (might just have been 1 point) but he produced the ride of the meeting. He reared badly out of the start and was tailed off, yet still caught and passed Richard Juul. He was a favourite of mine from then on. Then at the end of the season he scored a 5 ride maximum against Glasgow. Always wondered how far he would have made it in the sport if he hadn't lost those 5 years.

If we don't get severe weather now then they're going to look like right tools..... -
The ranting about this is just boring now. Change the record please! Clubs are struggling financially all over the country world, and playoffs bring in some much needed income. Last years NL playoff final was 2 of the best meetings seen all season (going on hearsay, I only attended the 1st leg). What do I pay to see? Exciting speedway racing. That's what I got in that meeting last year, and last week, in the pointless crap trophy, Sheffield and Rye House served up some of the best racing I've seen at Owlerton all season. I must be one of these strange people who are so busy enjoying watching this spectator sport I don't have time to worry about anything and everything. Playoffs, double points, silencers, foreigners stopping all the highly talented Brits from getting a team - who the hell gives a toss? Don't hit the face...
