  1. If we stuck to facts, this thread would only be 3 pages long!
  2. Simple solution. Wells accepts the pay cut, riders for us like he did for Wolves in 2012, earns more than he did in 2012.
  3. Cannot believe so many people presume that Koppe and Albin will do so badly. Give the lads a chance. Judge them after a few meetings. I for one am just glad we have a team to support.
  4. PL PLAY-OFF WINNERS (and CHAMPIONS!): Rye House PL FINAL LEAGUE LEADERS: Rye House PL TROPHY WINNERS: Somerset PL KO CUP WINNERS: Scunthorpe PL FOURS WINNERS: Scunthorpe PL PAIRS WINNERS: Edinburgh TOP OF PL AVERAGES: Simon Stead BEST NEWCOMER: Ryan Douglas MOST POINTS ADDED TO STARTING AVERAGE: Mason Campton WOODEN SPOON TEAM IN PL: Glasgow The Oracle has spoken.
  5. Christmas Surprise For Tigers Fans The Sheffield Window Centre Tigers have made a U-turn and signed Sean Wilson, Andre Compton, Doug Wyer, Reg Wilson, Bengt Larsson, Arnold Haley, and Bob Valentine. The move is to hope the 1000s of stay-away fans that continue to live in the past will flock to Owlerton and fill up the promotions pockets with wads of £50 notes. Oilyrag was heard to say "Brilliant! The good old days are back. Now I can be a happy old fart, and enjoy my speedway once again." But, it wasn't all good news. Spin King Junior was left looking like he'd just discovered there isn;t really a Father Christmas, and cried "Who is Bengt Larsson?" while wiping away a few tears.
  6. Don't drag me into this! I'm too busy planning on dying in 12 hours
  7. Rye House. Lykke is going to shock a few, and Mellgren will make huge strides. Should Lambert and/or Lykke move up into the team then you've got Garrity, Bunyan and Nelson to replace them at reserve. 2 strong reserves all season, with a big hitter at number 1.
  8. Just imagine a middle finger being held in front of you
  9. As proven by recent World Cups and Grand Prix' and World U-21's.....
  10. Tyler is a young Brit. I find it disgraceful that he's taking the place of an Aussie. People seem to 'back the Brits' but slate any Brit that tries to make a go of it. Good luck, Tyler. Glad you've got a team place. Hate the haters!
  11. If he was that good, why haven't Newcastle fetched him back?
  12. Is the next announcement that we've dropped down to the NL?
  13. His attitude to the PL in 2012 will have put most off him.
  14. People are forgetting Jake had a really good 2011 and went from reserve to heat leader in the NL. Maybe, just maybe, something was wrong in 2012, which he will have put right by 2013. He wasn't my 1st choice either, but let's give the lad a bloody chance. Seen plenty of average NL/PL riders step up and do well in PL/EL and there is no reason why Jake shouldn't be the same.
  15. Well you ain't going to see Sheffield Wednesday in the Premier League!!
  16. A Uruguayan riding on an Argentinian license is part British?
