Is there any word on the actual riding order? I'm doing the updates for the meeting and could do with setting everything up today as I'll be crawling out of bed just before the meeting starts and don't want to be rushing about

Personally, and I guess selfishly, I'd want it at Sheffield again. Only because I don't drive, and my dads a mardy old fart who won't venture far these days. I'd love it to be held at Scunthorpe, but don't know how big a crowd they could handle? The burger box would sell out in 30mins! Hopefully something is announced soon so I can make arrangements to be there, as it's a brilliant meeting for a good cause

Excuse me Mr Mod but this isn't about Speedway IN Spain...just on Spanish telly!

I've just got back from a fortnight in Menorca and was amazed to spend an hour last Thursday night watching highlights from the Nordic GP. The programme had Spanish commentary even during the races and went really in depth into the riders scores, etc. It was sort of similar to what they used to put on Channel 4 a few years back. Now for my point... I was in Menorca watching Spanish telly. Spain - what interest do they have in Speedway at all, let alone the GPs? I could watch a Speedway programme. Now I'm in Sheffield watching English telly. England (or Great Britain) - has two riders in the GP and has one of the biggest leagues in the world. The only way I can a Speedway programme is on the net!

I never expected to win such an award. I'd like to thank my mother and my father and my brother and god and satan and...... I don't see why you're taking the slash here, I put a lot of thought into getting that paper (and counted 30 sheets!!!)

I'm going to keep pushing this side of the argument until one of these "home advantage" bummers at least acknowledges it... What happened to home advantage in 2006 and 2008, the last two PLRC's to be held at Sheffield? Do we ignore that and concentrate on 2009? Whatever track you hold it on, be it Elite, Premier or National League - someone will have some sort of advantage. Imagane if the ELRC was held at Rye House - who would bet against Kennett winning the meeting? It'd be classed as a neutral track, yet one he was brought up on. The world championship is going to be decided on a track that favours Gollob and Sayfutdinov...and doesn't suit Crump. In ANY competition, SOMEONE is going to have some sort of advantage (unless everything is held at Cardiff...but then GP riders have an advantage over non-GP riders...)
