  1. I always thought you knew Correct In your dreams sweetheart
  2. Thanks for the info. I knew he was at Newcastle but didn't know about Scunny. It's a shame as he fitted in with the Hitmen like he'd been there all season
  3. Anyone got any thoughts on next years Hitmen? No Morris. No Cookie. Expect Branford to double up. Hopefully Garrity will be back. Can Wright double up or is his PL average over 4? Would Lambert ride for the Hitmen? Will Richie Worrall come back after winning the KOC and NL? Fully expect Allott to stay at home and captain the side again (he might not be the worlds greatest at passing, but he's awesome for experience in the pits)
  4. The Fours wasn't run because it would have been another trophy for Buxton. End of. Quit your crying.
  5. And people slate Neil Machin and Buxton for being tight arses... at least they can pay their riders every penny they are owed - immediately! From what I've read, Phil Bartlett isn't a great loss to Speedway. Good riddance springs to mind...
  6. You mean like the fans that have been voting for over a week? http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=58761
  7. Exactly how many Northern NL tracks are there?
  8. The woman at the end said it'll be on BBC WM at 8pm on Thursday so you should get it (hopefully!) If it had been shown during the season it would have clashed with the Sky meeting
  9. Thanks for that Would you be able to do the same for Thursdays programme at 8pm? Us up North have got to settle for Watchdog
  10. I'd rather see Arlo Bugeja be allowed to ride in the National League. Aussies are (technically) British, but only certain ones can ride NL. Arlo is a 100% trier but cannot ride lower than the Premier League but, with all due respect, he isn't in that class. A year or 2 would allow him to gain confidence while passing on his experience to up-coming Brits (who would be his team-mates) while gaining experience himself. Cue the anti Aussies!
  11. Me and my dad were talking about this. They have Winter meetings at Newport, Scunthorpe, etc but can't run a meeting at Newport after 31st October. It would have been amazing to beat Newport 6 times in 6 meetings...
  12. The team that lost 44-46 the first time half of the Buxton team had seen Newports track? If we're "making up" teams, give Buxton Nick Morris and Charles Wright...
  13. I'm a speedway fan, the rules were set out for both finals before any 1st legs were run, so I'd have accepted it. It's a shame some can't
  14. It doesn't matter if you, or me, or George or Fred agree, it was the same for the KO Cup final and the Playoffs. It's happened. Buxton have won everything. Get over it. End of.
  15. GET IN!!!!!!!!! Say what you want, if Friday had been on and today rained off then the result from Friday would have stood. Buxton have visited Newport twice this year and won both times. Give Newport a highly unlikely 20 point home win and they'd still have lost. As it happens, I have it on good account that there was no rain at Newport on Friday, but they could only get 4 riders together so thought it was better coming today at 0-0 rather than being X amount of points down. A big well done to all at Buxton. This season has been absolutely fantastic and one of the best teams I have ever seen (including team spirit, togetherness in the pits, etc as well as on track performance). It's a shame that we've seen the last of Cookie, it just won't be the same without him next year
  16. And then awarded to Buxton as they finished above Newport in the league (before anyone mentions Dudley again, they didn't reach the playoff final, the league champions will be either Buxton or Newport regardless of what the rules should be)
  17. Correct. It was agreed that if only 1 leg of the KO Cup and Plsyoff finals were to be run, then that 1 leg would be the final result
  18. But the rules set out at the start of the season say finishing top means sweet FA
  19. So Sundays meeting is a winner takes all? Knowing the BSPA, if Sunday is rained off too, they'll award the league to Dudley who weren't even in the final
