  1. So Barker was the best newcomer last year? Your predictions stink of biasedness as they all involve Somerset. Take a step back and take an realistic view at things
  2. PL: Ipswich/Scunthorpe Fours: Somerset Pairs: Plymouth/Glasgow Top average: Ben Barker Best newcomer: Cameron Heeps Biggest improver: Jason Garrity/Ashley Birks/Richie Worrall Wooden spoon: Plymouth
  3. Worlds worst kept secret: Simon Lambert joins Leicester
  4. I think Jason Garrity has signed for Rye House. It might be on their website
  5. http://speedwaygb.co/plteams12.html should save on a list of posts telling us what we already know
  6. Liam Carr. Was fantastic from what I saw in the NJL. Definitely one to watch
  7. You're a few years late Rumour went round it was starting up, then another rumour went round that Neil Machin blocked it due to being so close to Owlerton
  8. So a two legged playoff final produces 2 of the best meetings people have seen all season and is decided on the line in the 30th heat? How can ANYBODY knock the playoffs after it entertains like that. The PL was over (realistically) over a month ago and we've just gone through the motions. A big well done to both Scunfield and Mildenhall for providing such a fantastic end to the season.
  9. This year I've been to Leicester vs Redcar, Leicester vs Glasgow, The NL 4TT, Wolves vs Eastbourne, Kings Lynn vs Peterborough twice, Kings Lynn vs Coventry twice...you get my drift? I'm a SPEEDWAY fan. I will go to any track to watch any meeting. Tonights meeting was absolutely outstanding as both teams gave it their all and produced some fantastic SPEEDWAY. Move along.
  10. To be fair to Scunthorpe, they haven't signed 7 tried and tested riders for their start of season 1-7 (Think of this years BV team for example) Cooper was never going to be risked in the PL after the injury he suffered so was given a way back into the sport. The rest were all young lads who had hardly completed a season between them. Oliver, Smethills, etc were signed as injury/retirement replacements. There's going with the youngsters and there's charging the public a National League price for an amateur meeting
  11. My Facebook homepage. Brilliant
  12. You don't get out much, do you? Just go watch your Speedway, enjoy it, and stop thinking too much. If I stopped to worry about things to do with Speedway I'd be hating my life right about now
  13. At least 3!! Oh do pipe down. It's getting boring now. I'm a Sheffield fan and ain't getting my knickers in a twist so how about you drop it and move on?
  14. Looking forward to this on Friday. Gutted I can't do the 2nd leg on Sunday. Has the makings of a classic
  15. Yeh, but most are pure crap (especially when compared to Kings Lynn). I have no problem with it being held at Kings Lynn. Actually, I'm glad it's at Kings Lynn
  16. Would that be the same powers that be that told my mate it wasn't raining, then were left speechless when he said "Is that why I've just drove past the stadium with my wipers on?"
  17. Blue sky over here again. It's amazing how different the weather is just a few miles apart
  18. If he wears his shorts tonight then he's a complete twit! Bloody freezing. Rain has stopped and sky was blue but now it's black and looks like it's going to slash it down EDIT: 'Twit' is not the word I used!!!
