  1. It sounds like you have a complete product range. My business has dabbled in sponsorship in other sports in the past, and if it is any consolation, many are a lot worse than speedway in looking after sponsors. In summary, all sports take sponsors for granted, it is an epidemic
  2. On the basis that 50,000+ turn up for Wembley (the only reason you would move from Cardiff is if Wembley gets more people to go), then you will find that prices for London hotels are comparable to Cardiff.
  3. To rent the stadium and build a track at Wembley would be a huge financial outlay, and a massive risk. Wembley rental cost is a lot higher than Millennium, and so no-one is going to take that risk. It is easy for us to say why dont "they" do it, but would you risk £1 mllion on it? The only chance for a second GP would be around 2015 or 2016 in Manchester. Cardfiff and Lonodn arent that different time wise for Midlands and Northern fans driving down there. Plus, its once a year, get over it. It is a great day out, just enjoy the fact that we are able to watch top class speedweay in a fantastic facility, better than any other stadium the GP's are raced in. It's the one every rider wants to win, ask Gollob!
  4. What is the attendance at Cardiff? 45,000? That is more than most sporting events in the UK. Yes it can be improved, but I cant see it getting to 72,000 sell outs. Would be interested to know what Superbikes and MotoGp attendances are?
  5. Why is everyone bothered about spicing up a practice session? It's just that, practice, if its boring to watch, go to a bar instead, or have a look around (or if at Vojens, dont get there until saturaday!)
  6. Is it confirmed they are? I havent seen anything.
  7. So the 1 GP rider is just in Extraliga? Strange, a league 1 team might end up the strongest!!
  8. It's a different format, but the GP system definitely makes it fairer for those competing. You have to prove you are the best over the whole season, so I like it as a format.
  9. If the World Cup is to be a financial success, then the host nation has to be involved. This is a good move, and will save the World Cup as a viable competition.
  10. Is it starting to look like they are struggling to get 15 riders to commit to the GP series in 2012??
  11. Good luck to Poole and Eastbourne in the Champions League against that lot
  12. They should give Janowski a couple of the wild card entries for Poland, see how he gets on. Does well, then in for 2013. They should give Janowski a couple of the wild card entries for Poland, see how he gets on. Does well, then in for 2013.
  13. Ward, Pedersen, Harris and either Lindgren or Zagar. There you go.......
  14. I am sure Hancock and Jonsson are Coventry through and through!!
  15. Maybe it's because there are no Brits in contention, so Barcelona is a better option!
  16. I agree, I cant see how they will succeed in getting their wage bills down this way. As a form of rider control to get the top riders more evenly spread over a bigger league, yes it will, but the only guarantee way of getting wages under control is having a salary cap, otherwise it is always each team for themselves (which is fine as long as you can keep a competitive league going that way).
  17. Garrity has to be in there, U19 champion, NLRC winner, and didnt he get a good result in the U21 too? Plus, averaging 8.5 in this league.
  18. Is that another of your 21st century proverbs?
