Instead of just saying a german, why not spit out the actual name... that is if you actually know something.
-
If Iversen steps in for Batchelors it just means the last rider could only have an average of 6.7ish tops I think. Alas Bjarne Pedersen, 6.50 assessed foreign rider, or someone we've not mentioned.
-
So there is an 'apparent' space to sign a young foreign rider as the teams number 8, who can replace any of the top 5 if they are not available through out the season. Lakeside have just filled this void with Dennis Jonsson (son of Per), wouldn't be suprised if we go for young German Kai Huckenbeck who was over here this week practicing at Kings Lynn with Robert Lambert, he's fairly handy from what I have seen of him in the Pairs and SEC over the last 2 seasons.
-
Plot twist... Iversen rides at #1 for meeting against Worclaw, only for after the meeting we announce we've signed Janowski (been riding for Wroclaw during the meeting) everybody happy. Anyway I'm off to collect some Rocking Horse Faeces.
-
If it is Ben Barker, which it will be, is it really that relevant now? Put it this way, half way through the season when we're mid table-bottom, and we get an injury to one of the riders on 6-7 point average, which by the going in recent years is highly likely, OR one of those riders is not performing, there will be enough points to bring Iversen in for one of them, thus changing the look of the team pretty drastically. It's what Swindon done with Darcy Ward last year but as they were already close to the limit had to ship someone else out as well, Kings Lynn might not have that problem. And it'd probably be enough to push for a play-off place IF we aren't too far cut adrift.

Cometh the hour, Cometh the Mads.
-
Ben Barker.
-
I can do it on their behalf... We still don't have one.
-
Simon Lambert confirmed... http://www.kingslynnstars.co/2016/01/28/lambert-is-rider-number-six/ Also states the search for the last heat leader goes on.
-
I'm sure Batchelors broken arm would be a reason for Iversen coming in, giving Troy another month or 2 to get it 100%, then release Niels for Troy... thing is we'd still have a space for a heat leader but with only just over 6 to play with... I'd be wanting Sundstrom or someone to fill that void but you know who it would be!!!

Nonsense post. Riders do the job for a living not to perform for us, it's their job and as we pay to watch as fans and help pay their wages of course we have a right to pass judgement. If Bjerre can score good points in Poland and struggle to string off 2 decent races in England he's going to be criticised, and rightly so.
-
Mungo, as someone who didn't watch much at King's Lynn last year your constant defence of Bjerre is puzzling, he was Tom twit, end of. I find it slightly bizarre we haven't named our reserve, if the only tier 1 riders remaining are Roynon and Wilko, both are only just above a 3.00 average, therefore not really affecting who we get in at number 1, as this looks increasingly likely to be a sub 8.00 average rider. So what's the hold up? I hope we're not going to fiddle a new reserve rider in alas Ben Barker and sign a lower averaged top order rider. So as far as the top last heat leader spot a rough guess at possibilities... Possible - Larsen, Sundstrom, Shamek Pawlicki, Dudek & Vaculik (Latter 2 not as much).
-
He was. Bjerre is on the list and his average is under 6!
-
Still holding out for N Pedersen, Vaculik or Dudek.
-
Bjarne to Lakeside so it's not him!
-
There's still a signing to go.
-
Glad to see Mads back, very worthy of a second string place. Guess this means goodbye to Porsing. As for the remaining heat leader... It really can't be Bjerre. It just can't. If we're looking for a suprise I'd say Vaculik, Dudek or the biggest bluff in recent history from Nicki P to return to the stars, probably wishful thinking though and we'll end up with Bjarne.
-
Vaculik and Michelsen please.
-
Next rider announced 7.45 tomorrow.
-
And now Dudek

This is a massive long shot but going to put it anway... A few seasons ago when we didn't really have a clue who we were going to sign I had a look at Jonathan Chapmans twitter to see who he had just started following that recent week, one of them was Maciej Janowski which was strange at the time as we had no real link to him, and guess what, he signed. Just done the same with Rob Lyon, recently he's followed 3 riders, Martin Vaculik, Bjarne Pedersen and Mikkel Michelsen. Could these be the 3 to fill our top 5 with Rory not returning in 2016? As I said it's a long shot BUT, Michelsen signalled the other day he's signed a contract with someone, Vaculik was interested in riding in the UK although people are saying it was just for Poole on a short term deal, and Bjarne has been linked aswell. 1. Martin Vaculik 8.00 2. Mikkel Michelsen 5.67 3. Bjarne Pedersen 6.55 4. Robert Lambert 6.59 5. Troy Batchelor 6.91 6. ??? 7. Lewis Rose 3.00 Leaves 3.78 for the other reserve, someone like Roynon. Now that looks a fairly handy team in my opinion, let's see if it's anything close
-
Hope Pedersen is bluffing. If not only Jepsen Jensen and Michelsen would satisfy. If it's Bjarne and Bjerre I'll be ill! Batchelor is a decent signing.
-
Batchelor confirmed. Also confirmation of race night change to Thurdays AND Kerr out of the team... Also says Batchelor fills one of the heat leader roles, which emplies Lambert isn't a heat leader you'd think. http://www.kingslynnstars.co/2015/12/06/stars-sign-aussie-international-batchelor/

Could be completely unrelated, but on speedwaygb.co 2016 Team Declarations we have only Robert Lambert confirmed... Lakeside have no one though, everyone else up to date with their press releases.
