  1. I think seeing as it's at Kings Lynn, Allen would be the next in line, although it's a gamble, if he gates he can beat anyone, but you won't see him overtake!
  2. If we are part of a 10 team EL then I think it's brilliant news. However part of an 8 team league? Hmmmm. I'm sure we will find out soon.
  3. To be fair, I don't think those two guys will have trouble signing for another club..
  4. 1. Kevin Doolan 8.98 2. Ritchie Hawkins 5.86 3. Chris Schramm 6.37 4. Taylor Poole 6.11 5. Leigh Lanham 7.49 6. Jerran Hart 4.39 7. Joe Jacobs 3.00 Total 42.20, without Brit reductions. Gotta be close...
  5. There is no way Topinka will not be in the team.
  6. Well Roynon definitely has, but i don't know if we ever definitely had a contract with Bjerre, or whether it was a verbal agreement. I presume there will be another press release soon on the situation.
  7. If Bjerre does go to Newcastle, I wouldn't be suprised to see Bach and Poole on loan at Lynn.
  8. If we sell Doolan though, we could sign someone like Kerr permanently.
  9. No Thanks. The Number 1 position could be a very interesting situation. From rumours and reports it could be Olly Allen, Rene Bach, Travis McGowan or even a solid team with Topinka at the helm. Personally i would rather see Olly or Travis at number 1, Rene Bach would be a Good one to have too, as he is sure to have a brilliant season next year.. As for the rest of the team, Topinka, Roynon and Bjerre must be certainties. I'd really like to see Chris Kerr and Taylor Poole added as they both could easily be 2nd heat leaders next season, and as much as i like John Oliver he would be a massive risk. Although I think the Chapmans will try to get Sanchez back. Lambert to take the other reserve birth. 1. Allen/McGowan 2. Poole 3. Bjerre 4. Kerr 5. Topinka 6. Lambert 7. Roynon I Think we would be well up there
  10. I'd rather have Olly than Nermark tbh... 1. Olly Allen 2. Taylor Poole 3. Lasse Bjerre 4. Chris Kerr/John Oliver 5. Tomas Topinka 6. Simon Lambert 7. Adam Roynon That is around the 42.5 area, haven't worked out the Brit reductions..
  11. 1, Doolan 2, Bjerre 3, Kozza/Sanchez/Poole 4, Kerr/Eklof/Oliver 5, Topinka 6, Lambert/Mallet/Davies 7, Roynon 8, Knight 7 Out of them Lot
  12. I don't think some of the Hierachy would allow 4 poles and 2 danes tbh. Top 8 will stay the same, with the wildcards going to Andersen, Pedersen, Saifutidnov and then one out of Kolodziej, Jonsson or a brit. Imo Andersen has done more than Jonsson this year by making two finals to Jonssons one, whilst also picking up injuries on the way, Jonsson has had no troubles this year and ever since that exclusion in the semi earlier in the year just doesn't look interested, at least Andersen is trying.
  13. So picking an EL track would be a much better way to get team GB through to the final eh.... So the entire Aussie team don't ride in the EL? Kings Lynn has become vastly improved in the last few years with the Chapmans really turning the Norfolk Arena in to a fine stadium. You can see the whole track from every viewing point in the stadium which you can't say about many tracks. The track itself when prepared right and with the best riders in the world on it will really come alive, and i believe it will be a better meeting than last years at Peterborough, a big call i know. Furthermore i think the brits will have had some practice as a group around kings lynn to nail in some of that important knowledge, looking for the so called home track advantage. And to call for Rob Lyon to fall on his sword?? Obsurd to say the least, the best British manager in British speedway, hence why he has the job. Monday i think will be a really close meeting with Australia, GB and Sweden all gunning for the first place, and GB will fair a lot better than last year also. Steve Shovlar please removed your head from your EL Glory filled arse.
  14. GB Harris Nicholls Woffinden Stead Kennett Aus Crump Holder Watt Ward Batchelor Sweden Jonsson Lindgren Davidsson Zetterstrom Lindback
