If that was the case you could end dreams in Niels coming back, Chapmans won't ever push out 20K plus for a rider and that is fact. If Niels doesn't come back i think we might get Pedersen for the crowd draw.
-
We should have bought it last year, probably doubled in value this past season...
-
I agree... but what if Peterborough offer him a shed load more money than us? Like they did with the Bjerres and Allen last season? He is not a guaranteed signing imo.
-
He was always coming back, Lynn are trying to keep some riders in the team for a few years, you actually gain a connection with the fans that way... Look at our PL days... Topinka, Doolan, Kozza, Oliver, Harding, Millsy all riders who were liked at Lynn and were there for more than one season. When you have to change your team every season due to averages it kills some teams and fans interest. Mads, Schlein and Allen to be announced next week is my educated guess.
-
Birks converted PL average is 3.35 I believe... although all brits who haven't rode EL before should be a 3.00.
-
My bad! In that case this is a likely lineup imo... Iversen 8.84 Wolbert 5.40 Mads 6.70 Allen 5.77 (DU) Schlein 7.33 Bjerre 4.83 (DU) Kozza 3.73 (DU) Total 42.43
-
Possible riders; Iversen 8.84 Mateusz 4.93 or Hougaard 4.98 or 5.00 Assessed Allen 5.77/Howe 5.87 or Wolbert 5.40 Mads 6.70 Bachelor 7.94 or Harris 7.91 Bjerre/Kozza 4.83 Birks/Eklof 3.35
-
Iversen and Nicki Pedersen to share number 1?
-
There will be brits in there...
-
I agree it would be logical, but it's been strongly rumoured he is returning to Coventry.
-
I reckon Howe is the only likely one out of them 3... Howe, Allen, Bridger, Cook and Birks would all be welcome in one way or another.
-
1. Iversen 8.84 2. Wolbert 5.40 3. Janowski 6.13 4. Bridger/Howe 6.11 5. Schlein 7.33 6. Mateusz 4.93 7. Kozza/Birks 3.73 Total 42.47
-
Cook doubling up with Allen or Howe would work well. Allen or Howe to do majority home meetings and Cook to do away. Cook has always looked average round Lynn but is very good at other EL tracks... Iversen Wolbert Kennett or Magic Cook/Howe or Allen Schlein Sczcepaniak Kozza/Birks Just fits.
-
With a supposed 42.5 limit pre agreed to the agm... Iversen Allen/Wolbert Magic Mads Schlein Kozza/Birks 4 Pointer 42.35 Think we'd be very strong with that.
-
Or just have him instead of Wolbert...
-
Wolbert is what he is, he won't ever be more than a 6 point EL man in my eyes, Magic obviously could go a lot lot further...
-
Person? Are you not allowed to say Michael Lee was doing his engines? :/ Our top 3 will be Niels, Schlein and Mads in my opinion... Having a look around, after his performance in the world cup for Czech Republic, i'd give Ales Dryml a go on 4.65, would be a good reserve anywhere. Iversen Mateusz Mads Howe or Allen or Cook/Wolbert Schlein A Dryml Kozza/Birks Just comes under a 42 point limit.
-
Why would anyone want him anyway? He's a Darcy Ward with half the talent...
-
Do you know about Schlein then? I think he's been a long time target of the chapmans.
-
Depends... His old PL average is 9.80, but his converted EL average is 8.08. He would be doubling up, therefore use his converted EL average of 8.08? Allen 9.80/8.08 Mellgren 6.47 Bunyan 5.14 Nelson 5.33 Bowen 5.57/Lanham 7.68 Garrity 4.79 Nielsen 4.28 If it's 9.80 then 6.69 remaining guessing you'd have Bowen back? However if it's 8.08 then you could have someone like Lanham backing Olly up. Potential to be a very good team imo.
-
Olly Allen Mellegren Nelson Bunyan Garrity Nielsen I'd say them 6 and 1 other for Rye next season...
-
I think it's about time we recruited some of our own assets, someone like Birks would be a great signing, up and coming brit, not a huge transfer fee, EL teams should start taking a young brit at reserve every year, like they have to in Poland, worked well for Worrall this season. If we were to have a doubling up pair on a mid 5 point average, we could pick 2 from Howe, Wolbert, Cook or Allen if they are available. If the points limit goes up, which it's probably going to, i can see someone like Nicholls being a second heat leader here next season, if Coventry decide to retain Bomber. Iversen, Nicholls, (Howe/Allen/Cook/Wolbert), Szczepaniak, Kozza/Birks, would be a good starting point, if the points limit goes up by just half a point, you'd have around 10.40 remaining, try and fit some riders in around that... Mrockza 5.90, Madsen 6.40, Mads 6.70, Magic 6.13, Ljung 5.60, Buczkowski 6.00 could all slot in as a third heat leader.

I see Kozza won the longtrack championship in Aus today, and is coming back to the UK next year, got to be worth a doubling up place? 1. Iversen 8.87 2. Szczepaniak 4.93 3. Korneilusson 6.70 4. Fisher 6.02 5. Schlein 7.18 6. Kozza/Grajczonek 4.16 7. Eklof/Toft or Birks 3.07 40.93
