  1. Maybe it was because he was the only rider mounted on an early GM which also won the next 2 finals with Gundersen and took over world speedway.
  2. Nicholls has become partial to a jump start or two this season.
  3. My thoughts exactly as McGregor has made several dubious decisions against Redcar in the past.
  4. Hopefully Plymouth can re-sign AN Guest. He's been the backbone of the team for a few years now.
  5. Sign a number 1 and stop relying on guests and R/R. Excuses, excuses. Employ someone who can actually prepare the track. Fit some proper drainage. Stop blaming the stream next to the track as being a major reason for call offs.
  6. That was at Scunthorpe though not Redcar. They were stronger without him at Redcar.
  7. Maybe. He's a great lad but he's too laid back and friendly. Needs to show more determination and aggression to progress.
  8. Think he is overrated. He isn't particularly fast, only scores big points when he makes the gate and is pretty much one dimensional in his riding. Safe and steady and not aggressive enough for me. Doesn't take risks. For example in I think it was his first ride tonight he overtook Masters L1 B2. Masters challenged up the inside L1 B3 and rather than clamping Master he simply moved aside to allow him through.
  9. Said before the start that Oxford were stronger without Heeps allowing Nicholls and Boughen an extra ride.
  10. Heat 15 looked suspect to me. Staged to allow Redcar get the draw?
  11. Did Poole have the customary lengthy delay whilst behind at home to try and doctor the track?
  12. Is there any need for all this track grading it seems to be taking forever!
  13. An excuse for what? Quite a few people don't bother with the Mickey Mouse cup.
  14. Foord's crashes were advantageous to Poole as their weakest rider didn't have to take 3 rides. He didn't fall off on purpose in the warm up but come on, pulling him out definitely strengthened the team. Tobias was also obviously under instruction to throw his race to keep Poole 6 points behind so they could use the tac sub in the next heat. Not sure Poole would have won without Crash Bang Foord or the tactical ef!
  15. I would think most of the Poole riders would be reluctant to lend Foord a bike given his recent propensity to crash.
  16. My thoughts exactly. Think I've been to 4 meetings this season. Not bothered about the pre season Mickey Mouse cup, no continuity in the home fixtures and the track is a pale shadow of it's former self.
  17. If you were there or watched the stream Havvy initially was wanting to use the tac sub when Poole went three points down. However he realised his mistake or got a call from Middlo and rescinded his decision to use it in a more advantageous heat, hence Thomsen's 'ef' to maintain the six point deficeit! Doh!
  18. Yes but wanted to stay 6 points behind to play the tac sub in the next heat. Doh!
  19. Quite possibly they did just wasn't shown on BSN.
