100%agree regarding the mechanical knowledge of how the bikes works is big part of being able to make the correct changes on set ups.Many of the young Brits do not have that IMO.

How many Top men in GB employ full time mechanic/chauffeur .Takes a lot of commitment to help riders these as they more Continental Stuff these days.Like Dean you really have your own business to work around their schedule.

Do you not think it’s all to Technically to much for the average “friend” to get involved with these days and to time consuming to do it as “part time” job.Dont know how much riders pay anybody.They have to be “switched on” these days with everything going on .IMO

It did seem to ride OK towards the end.Glad Lebedevs won. On a different subject Dean you being a technical guy what does the Electronic Box that hangs from the throttle side of the handlebars of the GP riders do.?

For such a small production it is a class act.Hits all the right notes regarding Riders interaction and pits stuff.Have to say guest riders Rory and Sedgy are superb at summarising the action track without shouting their head off.

It’s a nice shaped track with plenty room for a temporary track ,but has the usual inconsistent conditions.Riders getting round all right when no obstacles in front of them.

Think the riders will be very wary of close racing.

Nothing wrong with NDL entertainment wise but the ancillary costs + some riders seem to earn decent points money makes it difficult financially for a promotions without decent sponsers on board IMO.

Would agree regarding regular racing,think all fans agree fixtures leave a lot to be desired and need fixing.The NDL is one way but it’s not actually thriving IMO.We will just have to wait a see what they come up with.

Only the Promotion know the financial situation for moving up a league,and if it is viable or risk against reward.The racing at Glasgow is superb most weeks and personally don’t think it would increase the crowd in any great numbers for a lot more expense.

Tue or Thursday won’t attract many away fans .IMO
