While Ian Rea has a perfectly valid point, but the recent survey in the Speedway Star pointed to Track preperation be an issue with a lot of fans regarding entertainment value (not at any one particular venue) and surely has to be taken into account when trying to improve the value for money aspect. Reducing the admission costs is a fine gesture but if the entertainment value isn't improved it will be a wasted exercise in many fans eyes.
I am sure that if you can source 7 unkown riders that are brilliant and finish the season on 9pt averages and ride for PL pay rates, the Promotion will sign them and probably invite you on to the Board of Directors
Have you see Aspergen riding yet,I give in you got me beat. Out and Out Heatleaders does not win much these days its strength in Depth IMO which this seasons Berwick line-up appears to have again only my opinion.
Agree,no disrepect to Albin as he might become a great rider ,but Wethers on 5.6 or Albin on 5 its a no brainer.Like the promotion stated if Alden had come back we might have been able to accomodate him till he settled in.
He did lack consistancy saw him have some superb rides at various different tracks though and was very good under pressure if he gated anywhere, still young though.
Good strength in depth Team, I think Kozza and Bellego will be the key men to a very good season.Well done to the Promotion.
Taffy was probably printing flyers naming the Team knowing him.
Not every fan relies on the internet and a social evening in the closed season is a good idea IMO after all you have to try and promote the sport. The present Promotion keep the fans informed unlike a few Promoters one of whom you are always complaining about for lack of in formation
Thats the problem in Speedway the bigger clubs can offer more "sponsership". Doolan will always go where the money is ,suppose you cant blame him it is a short career .
