The rules are as clear as mud ,regarding averages ,Ass averages guests ,riders that can double down,no wonder somebody just asks a simple question, all you have to do is give him the simple answer not question his knowledge of the rulebook
Vaculik deserves a wild card has proved he can mix it at GP level and is consistant in what we have already seen, very talented IMO.
Don't think any Brits deserve a Wild Card when you see some of the young talent on the Continent
I agree, but like you say things will neve change while the Promoters govern their own sport. Self interest will always rule. Present rulebook has to be binned and a new simplified version created.
If you don't have the money or the backing I think they maybe consider their future in the sport because speedway is not a "hobby" sport IMO.Give it a serious shot by all means but if not progresing after 3-4 seasons try somthing else IMO.The foriegners do seem to be more wealthy than their British counterparts though or have found better sponsers.
Lack of matches due to rain -offs dont paint a true picture while Workington are certainly in a good position .Teams like Berwick and Edinburgh for example have only ridden away match,so this slightly distorts table IMO.
With the younsters coming through Harris will struggle in SGP Qualifiers IMO. Needs someone reliable to sort his machinary ,Ihave never seen a GP rider pull-up with bike trouble as many times as Chris in the last couple of seasons it cant all be down to bad luck (can it).
Why! This Thread was started mainly because some fans were calling for Buxton too strenthen their Team which they are struggling to do due to their pay policy. If these fans desert the club it might fold and in similiar circumstances so might others.Thats why IMO which maybe differs from yours ,so be it.
My point is that Teams are paying what they can afford . Buxton are no different from any other Team in this respect, they are doing a good job under the circumstances and at least the fans are seeing speedway.
Lets face it the BSPA are to blame for most things that are wrong with British Speeedway.I agree NL is at a crossroads, and IMO same applies to the EL.
Considering they are the one team in the League who run on a budget that the League was intended for (development of talent ) ,I think your comments are out of order. If the meetings are entertaining then they have done their bit.Glory seeking at NL level is not what it is about IMO
