Bump! Ouch, that was the reality check completed.Well done to the Monarchs.
we can have another reality check after the Workington visit.then predictions can be made!
I think perhaps it would have been better if he had declined the interview till after he had ridden a few matches in the EL ,then perhaps he would have been able to justify his stance if things were going well. Rules are rules in the sport whether he likes it or not.
Sour taste at 15 is a poor attitude, just because he's raced and beaten a few Germans won't count for a lot ,poor advice given regarding the article.wish him well though. It won't be a game changer him not want to ride for GB IMO
Claus may well top score but saw him a few times at Amardale last season at it was a struggle for him ,whether it was set-up or dislike for the track he just never got to grips with it IMO.He is a much better rider than what I saw at Armadale and having a home track that he can ride will work wonders for his confidence . Think he will become a crowd favourite at Berwick as he is not afraid to get stuck in and will be a crowd pleaser.
The key man for Monarchs will be Max Fricke he is an outstanding prospect but has not been great at Shielfield in his Previous visits ,if he has a good meeting it will be close run thing IMO.If the track is slick gating will be ultra important ,have we got aTeam of better gaters than the past few seasons?
Berrington was good small track but if the strIghts had been another 20 metres long it would have been perfect IMO.Considering it was a blank canvas to start from I was disappointed .I believe it was based on Mildenhall for size..Happy days though.
Never mind I'll sell you my Berrington shares they might become a collectors in the future.I heard Northumberland council have cancelled there plans to re-route and upgrade the A1to dual -carriageway past Berrington Lough Farm track road end, that was going to help with the traffic congestion that the New Stadium was going to cause on a Sat night.
Don't think Berwick is his favourite track but he will score big points ,it will be interesting to see how many Heat winners the Bandits produce though.
