With the younsters coming through Harris will struggle in SGP Qualifiers IMO. Needs someone reliable to sort his machinary ,Ihave never seen a GP rider pull-up with bike trouble as many times as Chris in the last couple of seasons it cant all be down to bad luck (can it). -
Why! This Thread was started mainly because some fans were calling for Buxton too strenthen their Team which they are struggling to do due to their pay policy. If these fans desert the club it might fold and in similiar circumstances so might others.Thats why IMO which maybe differs from yours ,so be it.

Nobody is breaking the rules, but soon it will be a league with 2Teams if finances are not taken into account IMO (Dudley v Mildenhall).

Your spending to much TiME in the watchmans shop. -
My point is that Teams are paying what they can afford . Buxton are no different from any other Team in this respect, they are doing a good job under the circumstances and at least the fans are seeing speedway. Lets face it the BSPA are to blame for most things that are wrong with British Speeedway.I agree NL is at a crossroads, and IMO same applies to the EL.

That was a very strong Dudley team, but that is how the league is structured ,perhaps Mr Pearson would like to comment on the Dudley wage bill.
-
Considering they are the one team in the League who run on a budget that the League was intended for (development of talent ) ,I think your comments are out of order. If the meetings are entertaining then they have done their bit.Glory seeking at NL level is not what it is about IMO

-

Old Meadowbank,Hyde Road. The Shay and Kings Lynn .Superb racing tracks.

Lets face it Premier League probably could not afford the riders you have mentioned even if the did want to ride in UK ,pity as its not that long ago that good young foreigners were desperate to ride in UK at PL level.

Nicki must have been taking lessons from Thomas H Jonnason who he said was good at jumping off at the last GP. Nicki will never change ,he does not let an opponent "race" him has to block everytime. Poor loser has calmed down during interviews mainly because trying to maintain his innocence would make him look stupid. Emil past him fair and square and he goes mental!! -

Quite a lot the Scots had to fight wars to try on hold on to Berwick finaly losing in round about 1482 ,its just a pity the press release in not quite up to date. -
Young NL riders can only learn from being on track ,if you are under to much pressure you are not up to standard yet. Most promotions will stick with you if you are improving IMO.NL is a training league for most teams Ps I do understand what Dean was alluding too.
-
Good post Dean, most young riders struggle with dirt on the track. The problem might be that there are far to many slick tracks nowadays, but can't see anything changing that fact.IMO meeting are called of because of this fact, tracks are just skating rinks when wet.Years ago with dirt on tracks the riders just stuck on a boiler suit and an extra pair of goggles and got on with it. But these days are long gone. Good to see you can still show these young ones how a decent track should ridden.

I would like to see Holder win it he certainly is improving each season .Might be his best chance if his pal Ward joins in next year !! -
I agree Technology has taken over .

Did Kalle not move into the team though, not dropping down.
-
No he started over here with Edinburgh then went to Glasgow.
-
Ksiezak's good season was mainly due to Shane Parker nursing him round Ashfield most weeks.

Good post, nowadays if there is dirt on the track many riders stuggle to work out how to ride it,Its meant to be dirt track raciing.
