  1. Been down to the Uni in Swinton to have a word with the old Prof.
  2. Cos he's no very good at working out averages, but he is getting there.
  3. "fulcrum of the illustration" that's the latest "buzz-quote" in the Big Ed book of phrases.Im away for a lie-down.
  4. Harris just in case he gets knocked out in Croatia.!!!!!!!!!!!!.he has to be in it because he is still good enough (he says)?
  5. Soon be 1man and his dog watching the speedway.they will soon be giving reasons why they have to RUN the fixtures.
  6. Or Berwick!!!!!! I think that the "Old Prof at Uni"told you a lot of sh*t or you didn't take it on board? My maths level is 1+1=2, and 27 is LESS than 28.the other thing point out is Matej had a green sheet av of 6.19 at the start of the season and his current is 5.37 therefore I cannot agree with you or your" profs "theory.Ps I have no problem with Matej and his effort this season, his riding perhaps is not reflected in his average drop.It is aTeam effort and IMO he is doing his bit.
  7. Last nights fixture would have been a financial disaster for Glasgow if it had went ahead with the situation re-running the GP qualifier.
  8. Judging by the the crowds they attract give them a set amount of money each and maybe the clubs losses on the day may not be as much as if they had raced.
  9. That's far too sensible, why not just forget about the meaningless fixture and save some money at the same time.
  10. We will soon have the juniors copying the "big boys" and turning back after a practice start and re- adjusting the chain.Who invented that load of nonsense.
  11. Not to me though, concentrate on getting the programme scores correct then move on to the more tricky stuff .i.e. Averages.Ps My Bar Chart hasn't got a Smiley Face perhaps that's the problem.
  12. Carr is learning all the time and is improving as the season goes on.He is doing Ok IMO
  13. But this is Berwick topic ,some very sensitive people around,
  14. A fine example, a junior meeting with none of the "big team" involved.this time one of the "big "team will miss a meeting for his club.give me an example that does not involve junior meetings.
  15. the contingency plan was in the Regs for meeting, they obviously need to refer to them in this situation.what it really was that they wanted to run at all cost irrespective of conditions and entertainment to paying public, disgraceful IMO.
  16. while I don't know what went on regarding a rain -off,but I find it strange to arrange to Ride at Glasgow on what could be a potential rain -off date ( which has now happened)
  17. Berwick have a little bit of an obsession about being recognised by the F.I.M. And as the sports Governing body thanks fine, but the bottom line is the F.I.M.dont give a Sh#t about any Clubs.Self Interest is their main priority, while no one can legislate for the weather perhaps Berwick should tread carefully when getting involved in these events in the future. While the u/21 round was a very meaningful fixture in the context of the Competion and was brilliant, with 10 qualifiers going through to the next round I doubt that this meeting will have the same cut and thrust racing. The weather is playing havoc with the sport this season and ALL PROMOTERS have my sympathy they need better guidelines in place when these situations arise.Last night did not show the sport in good light, irrespective who was making the decisions.
