  1. you are just sh** stirring on last nights meeting that was a decent meeting IMO.Berwick track always resembles a ploughed field on the outside line which none of the riders go near for whatever reason it is prepared like this .
  2. I thought Rosco was ok and Tai gave a good insight of what the riders should be trying to achieve.I would take a meeting like that every week.Unfortunately it doesn't happen at a lot of tracks IMO
  3. Well done to everyone at scunthorpe great track and good racing, any rider who took the brave outside line was rewarded Dyer was unlucky to be excluded IMO
  4. The original fence was moved back to accommodate the the new safety fence.
  5. I here they sell rose tinted glasses at the track shop ,maybe they make the difference.
  6. Good post explaining the situation, but regarding the size of crowd I think the problem is in recent years there have been too many times meetings have been called off by the riders not wanting to" give it a go"(fair enough) but fans who travel distances take this into account and give it a miss.I years gone bye riders would start a meeting on a wet track but nowadays they are reluctant to ride in these situations.
  7. I agree,.but replacing reserves with guests from other teams is the 1st thing I would stop.
  8. You have your opinion and I respect what you say but IMO the sport has been allowed to develope this way and that too me have been its downfall. You get to the end of the season and guests are helping teams that may hamper their own teams chances whats the point in that? I am afraid I just cant take the sport seriously anymore . I like to see a good meeting irrepective of the result but even they are getting few and far between these days.I think you are lucky at Scunthorpe as you seem to have a decent track and see better meetings than most.I certainly enjoyed my visit last year.
  9. There you go. I would just ban guests !!!!!!!,I really think the sport is in dire straits,How can it be taken seriously.
  10. page 10 rule 117/a sub section/3 paragraph/ 2 subsection12 .you will find it somewhere, who said our sport was Mickey Mouse .Think Dyer is gauranteed a League winners medal this year given the number of Teams he is going to ride for
  11. Thats where Dick's experience and 50 years in the sport has it's advantage in these situations.
  12. Considering giving this a miss till they can make up their mind as to how to prepare the track, for the fans or for the riders .I would have thought prepare a decent track and tell the riders to get on with it.
  13. Just need to replace the screaming banshee Pearson and it will be perfect.
  14. He wont be the only Berwick fan to think that possibility, does not deserve your nasty reply, too much having to tow the party line by some Berwick supporters, it is a forum and everyone is entitled to their opinion.PS I think we will get more than 25.
  15. Have to agree ,Alex may regret making that statement (if he did make it)Fans can only take out of it that he has lost his confidance or he was having" a go" at the state of the track without speaking too the right people before making the statement. He has created trouble of his own making IMO
  16. Not his biggest fan ,but hats off to him he is looking impressive and classy this season ,hope he has turned the corner in his career.Fantastic style.
  17. Good to see that the 2 juniors escaped with lesser injuries than first feared, wish them a speedy recovery it really did look a bad one.The medical Team done an excellent job IMO.
  18. changing the track every week till you get it right is not the answer IMO.make it the same every week and tell the riders to adapt to it.
  19. The track should be prepared for the start of the season, you cant wait till half way through the season to get it right, there will be nobody left to watch it at this rate.
