Were too late now for different tack .disappointed with Promoters Meeting nothing new regarding PL .IMO it needed freshened up and changes regarding guests,r/r options. But what's new everything hunky dory with them.
-
Who has said no1 and a 7.5 average is not that bad when you look at last seasons Team. I agree but finding the riders that want to come to Britain these days isn't as easy as previous years in Peters era.
-
To be fair I would have 3 of them but don't think it will happen
-
Oh Dear
-
Imo Alden's biggest problem is his temperament ,he has let us down at times but IMO he is good enough in this league and he is an asset ,not sure he will be back though ,if not we should sell him.not many can beat him round Shielfield when he is in the mood
-
Of last years squad I would only have Bellego Kozza and Alden back, though I think there is a fair chance that only one of them will be in the line up.Some fresh faces are needed though and Covetti would be a good shout IMO.
-
Could they be including the Play -offs. Top 6 bottom 6 don't think they will race each other more than once home and away in the league .
-
Thanks ,hope you have an injury free season ,best of luck .
-
Are you planning to do Long Tracking again next season?

From what I can gather Marcin was getting enough money on a retainer in Poland as to not bother about Britain+the licence issues if he was to ride in Uk.

Until we see a statement on what riders are available for the reserve spots and the rules regarding the replacement criteria if injuries occur it is difficult to make sense of it all.It might be the way forward you never know.Certainly glad I support a PLteam though. -

I think it was Pererborough before they withdrew from the League just for a bit of revenge on their fellow Promoters.!!!! -

Most fans will think it is a typo .Where is the logic in that.At least the PL have held their ground regarding league restructure . -

Regarding marketing and Major Sponsers I don't think it could it could be in a poorer state than it is now.Other forms of Bikesport seem to be doing better though. -

One live match/week is hardly mind boggling coverage irrespective how much the deal is worth, like some one pointed out it has just make the Promoters complacent. IMO . -

Is he the man for the job then ,should be looking elsewhere for the benefit of the Sport .Imo Live TV coverage in itself is not concern they are only thinking of the large sum of Sky money he can pocket for himself . -

your entitled to your opinion but surely he knows that British Speedway needs riders signed up for next season before they commit themselves to other Countries and were are left with the dregs. He should have been negotiating with Sky long before now regarding their intentions instead of being fobbed off with the excuse that contract doesn't end until the end of the year. They need to take lessons from other Sports. A lot of people seem to obsessed about TV MONEY but in reality it should just be a bonus for the Sport if the sport was run properly. -

I find it incredible that Terry Russell finds it unfortunate that Final decisions regarding next season have to be made this weekend,is he in the real world!!! World Speedway doesn't revolve around HIS negotiations with Sky.What a plonker with self interest the only thing that seems to concern him. -
the current state that speedway is in we can only assume that Ipswich dropped to the PL in an attempt to lose less money than if they were EL.Possibly Sky money the only thing keeping EL afloat until now.Not long now before all is revealed regarding League structures.

IMO the majority of speedway clubs have been taken over by business men/speedway supporter who genuinely have the sport at heart, but unfortunately when it comes to running the club some find themselves out of there depths some do not like outsiders giving advice because it is club and their money behind the venture others have too any people in the consortium who all want do it their way. I think when it comes to Sponsers again some clubs invite small local business men to get involved then it becomes a vicious circle because a lot of Sponsers of this nature want a say in how the club is run which in some cases is not ideal.IMO Sponsers should support their local club for the benefits that it has on their business and leave the Promoter to run the club. I think you need to be a very rich person if you want to invest in a speedway club.Attracting a National Company as a major Sponsers is the Ideal situation who do it as a business venture and not self interest. It is interesting that one of the most successful Promotions (Poole) have always had Decent Sponsers but Matt Ford has always been the Main Man.

Speedway At The Crossroads

There's nothing wrong with Team Racing if you are watching YOUR team every week not Guest riders,Rider replacement and even reserve replacements how you you expect fans to get interested in THEIR team. They need to introduce a Squad system that covers the teams and not having every rider riding for every team in the league it makes a mockery of the team ethic. -
neither would Ren.
