I can't fathom how so many mediocre foreign riders can turn up year after year if they are not earning from the sport.Just what kind of money are journeymen riders making out of the sport,and good accountant must be required.I still enjoy my speedway,but for a lot of races nowadays it's all about the gate and 1st and second bend.riders seem to settle for what they have after that.We all have different opinions regarding now and then but there is no point in looking back.It might be age thing but I can certainly give it amiss nowadays (although I seldom do) and certainly don't think the sport is in good shape in Britain.There is still a nice atmosphere at Speedway and the riders are approachable in most cases which makes it the sport it is.

It's always lack of cash with you,perhaps these riders should be doing something else for a living .

What you have to remember Taffy's criticisms are not considered sniping by HIM!!!! Should riders not be prepared for the start of the season instead of spending half the season sorting out their problems during the season .As far as motorcycles go speedway engines are not that complicated but are always seem to be the excuse.I know a couple of road racers who can't believe the excuses about machinery that riders come up with.

It is difficult the pass Heat Leaders at Berwick after the 1st lap when the riders are up to speed but not impossible,plus you don't need passing to produce a good race as the u21 meeting showed last year.A bit of effort over 4laps would do me fine.

Ifail to to see what difference changing position will show any significant improvement in form.In Doolans case has rode in that position for most of his Teams.Whoever moves to No1 scores might drop if this is the case so what difference does it really make,this riding to your average is a nonsense most riders are signed because the clubs think they will improve their starting average.I agree regarding Kus wins his 1st race in 65 secs then is the length of the strait behind in aHeat that has also been won in 65 secs explain why the bike is going slower,or is not fast enough Taffy.

let's face it Kevin and Matej have had a slow start to the season which put pressure on Steen who really stepped last week in response .You can't expect that every week he needs support .Think we will win at home if Ludvig doesn't gate,if he does it could be tight.

While Stefan is maybe not quite up to League racing standard IMO,he has certainly make a lot of progress on the track and is quite stlylish .Best of luck to him.

2questions,why 16 heats and has Bellego been move to No4 ,else he would not be in Heat 14

Wells seems to use PL just to top up his money to subsidise his EL Racing.Certainly appears to put more effort into his EL racing.IMO

Hardly a handful of meetings ,he rode in the EL all last season.Time will tell though.Nothing against him just my opinion on what I have seen happy to be proved wrong.It is a Forum

Have to agree regarding Cook a PL superstar will be his limit,Gets Outgated in EL and cant pass decent riders.

Smolinski used his brain instead of his throttle hand,the rest weren't that smart

Most fans would agree with the way the Team was structured ,but when you built strenght in depth team you can't have Heat Leaders running last places against the opposing reserves.

I think he was one of many of KKB's favourite riders !!!!!!!!! Also schools are still on Easter break and I think he has done all his money in the Bookies over Easter.

Having watched Matt Weathers for the last 10 years while he is not a superstar he is what speedway all about 4laps 100% great entertainer in the Makovsky ,Clews mould.If he has a poor meeting you can accept it, but with some others it p*sses fans off when they consider there is lack of effort If there were more riders put in the same effort there would be a lot less moaning from fans of all teams IMO.

sadly and with no disrespect to the riders ,when you look at the line ups for these meetings you can see why GB is no longer a force in World Speedway and won't be for some years IMO.

As entertainment seems to be not to bad but as a serious Team Competion is is a bit lopsided regarding the Draft riders IMO.
