Would agree,their crowds are down on what they were.as all tracks seem to be.They have men with money behind them who bail them out most seasons which is a good thing in my book.Cook is only back because the dipped into their pocket when he needed more Sponsership.They have hinted they can't go on losing money ,AGAIN.

In my visits to Armadale I would put the crowd level on par with Berwick certainly nowhere near double.

We certainly will be very weak at reserve if we have a 7pt rookie Aussie.If the Aussie turns out to be a 10pt man and the 3pt reserve can double his average we might hang on for some Home wins though.Personaly if was going for a 7 pt asset I would be looking at Europe where you can gauge the form better,but that would cost us too much money.Edinburgh have just announced it was another season of losing money so what chance do we have of fielding a strong team,if we lost money on last seasons Team.People are just giving up on the sport I'm afraid.

It's not got a lot to do with good riders left,it's their average that could be a problem for Berwick.

There are not very many tracks today as good as Old Meadowbank was then IMO ,great track and great racing.

Considering they started with only 1rider over 7 last season doesn't look promising for strength in depth team if the Aussie is a 7.
