  1. the last few weeks mine has been arriving on a Friday instead of the usual Thursday ,I just put it down to my local Post Office delivery though.
  2. I heard the same rumour at the end of last season, but if it was anything serious you think it would be out by now.Interesting that he did not ride in Aus in the winter though.
  3. it is a strange one if he gets a visa why would he not have ridden for Rebels.Somerset must think he won't get a Visa
  4. IMO Procter is overrated and has not lived up to the hype that he is always given certainly no Doyle.Wish him the best of luck though and an injury free season.Somerset will do well if they finish top 4 IMO
  5. For one so young he rides with his head ,he is going places IMO.superb style and control,I saw him on his first ride round Berwick in 2012 and you would have though he had practiced there for years.
  6. Have to agree with you,it's their profession they should be keeping their eye on the ball after the Masters and Campton situation last year.Rule changes are a poor excuse if it's how you make your living.
  7. I think that has been the problem in recent seasons, the track being prepared to suit certain riders,I say prepare a track that can be raced inside or outside like the U /21 and tell them to get on with it.Far too often in recent seasons the outside of the track was a "no-go " area for the first 2/3rds of the meeting IMO
  8. My choice would be1 Doolan 2 Kus 3 Bellego 4 Wethers 5 Vissing 6 Jensen 7 Carr
  9. Specsavers for you I feel ,while the team lacks an out right No1 considering you have to work to a points limit it does look like Strenght in depth team on paper. While you may mock Taffys post there are a considerable number of fans would say he has a valid point.
  10. Think we know what Doolan and Wethers will do ,the rest could be anything, like you I expect Bellego to be the key man but I'm hopeful that Vissing might do the business .Not the best team on paper but we all know that means nothing in speedway.
  11. What Cooke are your referring to Craig Cook or is there another Cooke that is much older.
  12. I think that is why the monthly Match Race Challenges in speedway were so intriguing and drew large crowds.
  13. You sound like Dick Barrie on this one!!!
  14. No it shut in '67 to built stadium for Commonweath Games,I. Think you may be thinking of Hampden Park for that one ,could be wrong though.Sheffield also hosted abig round of the Championship but I think that was the late 60's.
  15. Im afraid some people just like to stir things up regarding certain posters ,I am well aware of the help you have given a number of riders over the years and I am sure it is well appreciated by them, keep up the good work. Most of my Posts tend to relate to speedway in general and are not aimed at Individual riders unless that is the specific subject.
  16. agree given the difficulties with Masters and Campton last year you would think Professional sportsmen would be on top of the situation.
  17. A lot of 2+2=5 on this subject IMO Im sure Liam has it all in hand
  18. fair enough I am not having ago Liam in particular although when I saw him at Edinburgh last season I'm sure his Tammy had SKINT logo on it!!!
  19. Fair enough but there are dozen of young riders in the same boat,if Liam wants to make it in speedway he has just go to get on with it,no good relying on other peoples gestures although every little helps ,no one asked him to be a speedway rider.Pleading poverty is not the answer .
