If the track was prepared properly why would it be slick because of dry weather ,no excuse IMO .

At EL level if he misses the gate he's history.Decent at PL level though.Be surprised if he ever makes a GP rider.

The track shape looks perfect for great racing but why can't they sort out track prep,that was poor viewing.When we have good track prep the same guys give us great entertainment so you can't blame the riders

Would it really mater nowadays judging by the Swindon match on TV last weeks even if the track had been ok they would complain about visibility and called a halt to racing.Promotions can't win these days,damned if they do damned if they don't.

I would agree Steen at reserve is a better option but this was always going happen if Steen live up to his billing(which has and more)but it is Team effort and the formula is working,Kevin has picked from his slow start which is offsetting Kus a little .things are going well so really no complaints.I think Liam has improved in a tough situation and a big learning curve.To be honest apart from Claus (who has been brilliant)you have no Idea who the match winning score may come from .

while I agree with Cook regarding scrapping the tactical rule but I think his comment that it is"last great wrong"in the Elite League is a bit wide of the mark.

usual reason ,self interest , you would think a club with its own stadium could sort out a track for tonight . IF the forecast is favourable,plus it is a local derby so could have later call off if required.the promotions will soon be wondering when fans don't Turn up in late Sept for meaningless meetings.These days it needs a WEEK of dry weather or the fixtures are in doubt,sad days for the sport.

The whole sport needs to be slowed down,all other forms of Motor sport and Bikesport have been introducing new regs to stop it becoming uncompetitive and too expensive.
