  1. I think your point regarding regarding meetings being called off without being completed is a valid point, people are fed up knowing if the weather is dodgy they will attempt to run 10 heats just to get a result that is short changing the paying public,if the meeting starts it should be run to a finish except in exceptional circumstances .Birmingham the other night had very little dirt and grading was a waste of time.We need dirt on the track and the riders to slow down if circumstances dictate.I remember the days when some riders liked a wet track.
  2. the latest Berwick newsletter says that last weeks match at Plymouth was Jensen last match at reserve.
  3. waste of time these days trying to improve track conditions 1/2 the riders won't like ,away Team probably want to ride,Home probably won't,Ref will panic over Health and Safety, call it off anyway .the sport is in turmoil these days regarding Weather and track conditions.Even I have second thoughts if I think there is going to be a SPOT of rain these days.
  4. technology has ruined the sport and the powers at be will still not recognise it.there is more to the sport than speed, get some dirt on the track and produce some rules to slow the sport down and bring back the skill factor instead of just holding on too a rocket ship.Fans are just not going to be interested in turning up if there is a cloud in the Sky.Listening to Rosco tonight shows how the sport is all about self interest.Clown.He should have at least been diplomatic about it.We have now seen both sides of Rosco in the last 2 weeks.
  5. Good to see Henry fixed up,he is a value for money rider, who gives it his best shot.
  6. If the track was prepared properly why would it be slick because of dry weather ,no excuse IMO .
  7. That's a forum for you,sometime it gets sidetracked.
  8. There is nothing in the newsletter linking any named riders to Redcar.
  9. At EL level if he misses the gate he's history.Decent at PL level though.Be surprised if he ever makes a GP rider.
  10. The track shape looks perfect for great racing but why can't they sort out track prep, that was poor viewing. When we have good track prep the same guys give us great entertainment so you can't blame the riders
  11. Would it really mater nowadays judging by the Swindon match on TV last weeks even if the track had been ok they would complain about visibility and called a halt to racing.Promotions can't win these days, damned if they do damned if they don't.
  12. when I look at the 1st post in this thread I do wonder about you.You clearly making up some stories.Read the Berwick E letter again.
  13. Your bored again. the post says this season,
  14. His average would still drop which is th point that is being made.
  15. Is the cut- off date not in middle of the month then used from the 1st of the next month.then Jensen would still be at reserve.
  16. I would agree Steen at reserve is a better option but this was always going happen if Steen live up to his billing(which has and more)but it is Team effort and the formula is working,Kevin has picked from his slow start which is offsetting Kus a little .things are going well so really no complaints.I think Liam has improved in a tough situation and a big learning curve. To be honest apart from Claus (who has been brilliant)you have no Idea who the match winning score may come from .
  17. while I agree with Cook regarding scrapping the tactical rule but I think his comment that it is"last great wrong"in the Elite League is a bit wide of the mark.
  18. Computer number crunching again and you are bored.
  19. Given his age and the serious injuries he has picked in his career I think a comeback is the wrong option.
  20. Irrespective of his talent, Cook has always a bad loser and shows his mentality with his actions.
