  1. Davy Fairbairn is your man for boxes of fish .think Les Rumsay got the last box though(one for the older fans).
  2. good result for the Bandits, well done. Most fans would take that score against Monarchs.
  3. Forgetting all about one night speedway,IMO a number of British Tracks just can't cope with the bike technology nowadays,I have yet to see a Foreign that has long straights and tight corners they are all purpose built wide and sweeping corner which produce better racing IMO ,and it no coincidence that Scunthorpe and Somerset produce thrilling racing and were purpose built.Value for money has to be a priority .EL is not value for money IMO .
  4. Whole box? thought you weren't going to pay Ross Brady fees anymore!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I agree, but if the ref excluded the rider who he though was rolling completely from the race and no replacement or 15 mtr handicap allowed.the riders would soon sit still IMO.I would prefer just to let the race continue if nobody touched the tapes.
  6. I don't think many true speedway fans would reckon that Woffenden would only reach Premier League level ,the guy was a class from the minute he started racing in Britain and stylish and safe.As for Cook I am of the opinion that he will never be GP regular (only my opinion) and if he proves me wrong I will take my hat off to him as it's nothing personal.
  7. My personal opinion that it Niki's early days and with most riders it was "good hard racing "and "most of them knew what they were doing".Nowadays bike technology has made it difficult to predict what is going to happen if the track is not as slick as a motorway and as a consequence we get a lot of crashes that look like dangerous riding but in fact the rider has just lost control due to the unpredictability of the bikes (and perhaps overriding)
  8. Exactly my feelings, great post IMO . 20 top riders I have told him a million times not to exaggerate .
  9. Cant beat a bit of light hearted posting great post and a good read.Keep them coming.
  10. The EL is finished as a top level speedway and has been for a few years.Who wants to pay Top admission money to watch a tired Woffy going through the motions.Everyone knows that single night speedway won't happen in Uk.
  11. Bellego will be a huge miss IMO .I think Fricke will be the key man,he has never been that good at Berwick but somehow I think he is more expierianced now.If he has a good meeting I can see an away win no problem
  12. Best Wishes for the future to Schrammy,a nice guy who gave 100% and always had time for the fans, but for a couple of nasty injuries could have went further in the sport.
  13. Might be the Rosco masterplan,With Cook at reserve he can replace any of the other 3 duffers in the Team when he feels like it. Ps. With another duffer!!!!!!
  14. Would agree that he is doing a decent job ,but you can never predict his next against any standard of opposition, beats the best then gets beat with the worst all in the same meeting hence enigma.
  15. Dryml is just taking the P#ss out of the Peterbro Promotion, picking and choosing when to be injured, keeps having a"try out" abroad before deciding he is still injured he also scores a fair number of points in these "try outs"
  16. I agree,I think riders in this years GP should not be able to also enter qualifiers for next year and if they don't make top 8 should not be included next year even as a wild card.you would then get a turn over of riders,to many same old faces who are on the slide. It is difficult too see a solution that will please everybody though.
  17. Against the the field in British Final it was hardly aFANTASTIC achievement. But fair play to him.I will stick to my previous thoughts that Cook won't make a permanent GP rider.
  18. The stupid rules within the Sport means Team Speedway cannot be taken seriously is a good start.
  19. Steen would make good second string at the start of next season,he is doing well considering he has not been to many of the tracks in Premier League, and he is an entertaining rider.Kus is a enigma IMO .
  20. We have to give Liam time,IMO we won't win anything(hope I am wrong though) but dropping a 3point man doesn't make sense,if you really want to win they should be looking further up the averages, although Personaly don't think it is worth changing anything.Just sign Claus,Steen and David now for team building next season with Liam.
  21. He will sleep well after he reads this forum, right up his street seeing his name mentioned in print.
