  1. I was not having a"dig" I was just quoting a fact that YOU felt like you had mention in a previous post as if it was important. The question I was answering was regarding the size of the crowd ,I thought that might be a relevant factor.
  2. £10 deal possibly big factor, opposition being top of the league making it an attractive match.Bandits showing good form.Neutrals taking in an attractive fixture,BigEddie bringing all his friends.
  3. Thought your theory was less points means your improving. It was was earlier in the season.
  4. great to see Ricky looking so well on Bandits Facebook Page, hope he can keep making progress and wish all the best.
  5. If they can find a 6 1/2 pt man that can get as 15pts round Berwick I'll take my hat off to them.
  6. I agree it came over ok last night. The trouble is IMO predicting a good Speedway fixture is Difficult. The fixture that was at Armadale a few years ago that I remember was Workington and on paper a cracker ,on track Workington never turned up.Could happen anywhere.Shielfield is a neat and tidy stadium which comes over well on TV .Armadale is poor but it can produce good racing.Speedway at Shielfield cannot be compared with speedway at Armadale. If it is entertaining the fans will turn at both venues,Edinburgh fans that come to Berwick know what to expect and vice-versa.
  7. Not big enough to pay all the bonus points for the teams fabulous run of victories.Evening News article says the riders are joining fans on a sponsored walk up Ben Nevis to raise money for the Clubs finances.
  8. Listening to the"killing time" period got the impression that Kelvin(like myself) is hard to convince that Cook will make it to the Top in World Speedway.Regarding his form this season I think he is "watching "average for TeamPlace next season (wherever it is)
  9. If no Kus and Bellego no points for bandits IMO ,Hope I'm wrong though.
  10. Would agree,a full Somerset Team will fancy their chances if Kus is missing.
  11. I think this will be out toughest Home test.If Brady Kurtz takes to our track it will be a close run thing ,especially with Bellego missing.Todd Kurtz and Starke will give Edberg a challenge in the reserve berth IMO .Steen was poor last night will need to do better on Sat.Should be a good match.
  12. Could you explain how you can come to that conclusion.Bit of a random statement another "ours is better than yours stuff" .
  13. That looked like the normal fence but I might be wrong.
  14. Good win for Berwick , can't believe Kus was not in Ht 14,Still we got out of Jail.Speedy recovery to Matty.
  15. Speedway's main aim these days is to see how fast you can go a track prepared like a motorway.Entertaining for some but not for everybody.
  16. Possibly, trouble is nowadays nobody wants to race even if it is light rain and the track is perfectly rideable, all the talk now is visibility.Gone are the boiler suit days and a bit of throttle control. The reason fans are concerned about the forecast nowadays are obvious ,if there is any rain falling the meeting MIGHT not go ahead even though the track is rideable IMO .You very seldom see a meeting held in wet conditions nowadays compared with the past.It annoys me that the same riders will ride in a rain affected Individual Meeting when there is money to be made and might be lost if the meeting is called off.
  17. I mentioned 14sept,it was the date given on the Workington web site regarding their fixture crisis,so I assume it is the cut -off date.Be lucky if fixtures are complete this season IMO never mind that date.
