  1. What was the crowd level compared to the Sky Match? It was certainly a backs to the wall win for the Bandits especially when Jorgensen had to withdraw from the meeting as well .
  2. I agree regarding Jacobs but. Dilger is just a 2nd rate foreigner ,what chances do Young Brits have.
  3. There was a few gate and go tonight after the back straight 1st Lap.Cook and Masters made a pass each after the 1st lap but not much else happened.
  4. It will be interesting to see the crowd level this Sat,this is a top of the table clash and a few years ago this would have attracted afair amount of neutrals from local tracks but nowadays fans just don't travel for these fixtures (probably financial ).For me Personaly weaken teams and guests don't help the situation, but that is modern day Speedway.Locals might not bother so much if your just walking up the road, but neutral fans that travel a fair distance could be put off.IMOAs a footnote to my post I will add the I spoke to 2 monarch fans tonight who make regular visits to Berwick and intended going to-morrow ,they asked if Kus and Bellego were missing when told they were they have changed their mind and giving it a miss for that reason.Justifying my thoughts on the matter.
  5. Do you think Vissing would go back to Edinburgh,he really struggled with the track last season.Depends on money offered I suppose.Has had a great Season at Berwick we have to try and keep him,
  6. I was not having a"dig" I was just quoting a fact that YOU felt like you had mention in a previous post as if it was important. The question I was answering was regarding the size of the crowd ,I thought that might be a relevant factor.
  7. £10 deal possibly big factor, opposition being top of the league making it an attractive match.Bandits showing good form.Neutrals taking in an attractive fixture,BigEddie bringing all his friends.
  8. Thought your theory was less points means your improving. It was was earlier in the season.
  9. great to see Ricky looking so well on Bandits Facebook Page, hope he can keep making progress and wish all the best.
  10. If they can find a 6 1/2 pt man that can get as 15pts round Berwick I'll take my hat off to them.
  11. I agree it came over ok last night. The trouble is IMO predicting a good Speedway fixture is Difficult. The fixture that was at Armadale a few years ago that I remember was Workington and on paper a cracker ,on track Workington never turned up.Could happen anywhere.Shielfield is a neat and tidy stadium which comes over well on TV .Armadale is poor but it can produce good racing.Speedway at Shielfield cannot be compared with speedway at Armadale. If it is entertaining the fans will turn at both venues,Edinburgh fans that come to Berwick know what to expect and vice-versa.
  12. Not big enough to pay all the bonus points for the teams fabulous run of victories.Evening News article says the riders are joining fans on a sponsored walk up Ben Nevis to raise money for the Clubs finances.
  13. Listening to the"killing time" period got the impression that Kelvin(like myself) is hard to convince that Cook will make it to the Top in World Speedway.Regarding his form this season I think he is "watching "average for TeamPlace next season (wherever it is)
  14. If no Kus and Bellego no points for bandits IMO ,Hope I'm wrong though.
  15. Would agree,a full Somerset Team will fancy their chances if Kus is missing.
  16. I think this will be out toughest Home test.If Brady Kurtz takes to our track it will be a close run thing ,especially with Bellego missing.Todd Kurtz and Starke will give Edberg a challenge in the reserve berth IMO .Steen was poor last night will need to do better on Sat.Should be a good match.
  17. Could you explain how you can come to that conclusion.Bit of a random statement another "ours is better than yours stuff" .
