Konopka with decent equipment could do a job at reserve IMO.but there must be a young Brit surely.

The Most Secret Speedway Meeting Ever
Fromafar replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Very positive comments regarding track which is good news for fans attending. -
as you can see by the posters nobody is really having a go at Glasgow,it's just the rules that are unclear regarding this situation, they have gave Glasgow the benefit in this instance which is fair enough, but you can bet your bottom dollar this will crop up again, just hope they are consistent in their decisions.

This should be a cracking match. -
Now and try and explain that to MANSE,simple!

You have not explained the part that was discussed earlier, interpretation is everything in speedway that is why they have the word "may" in the rule book though.

Sch!!!! -
It hard to believe Wells and Karlson are team mates done their best to mess each other up.
-
Agree when that pair dont feel like it they certainly take the P#ss. must be getting good money to turn up though IMO .Nigel trying to make that a great Lakeside performance ,he needs to tell the truth Wolves were woeful!!
-
Any news on Ben's progress from injury.
-
Agree but I would add Kildemand to the GP list.THJ and Harris are not consistent at GP level either though.
-
Hope Greg was watching might learn something about what to do if another rider takes your line. Nicki just rode as he normally does its just the other riders were not worried about him and just got on with it. it goes to show that there is some talent missing from the GPs,this is an excellent advert for the sport,no Mickey Mouse home made tracks made it more exciting as the rider can get stuck on without being thrown all over the place with ruts.

The reduced price of admission also may be a factor ,as Swindon recently pointed out.So it's is obvious that most Promotions are living above their means as they cannot survive on twice the crowd and reducing Admission by a third,I doubt that Sky meetings attract many new fans though if it does they certainly don't become regulars judging by reports. -
The Dilemma Of Greg Hancock
Fromafar replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
You could have asked 100 people "what happened next" and I reckon NO ONEwould have said "flying high tackle" -
Craig Cook?there was a kind of hint of something in his interview that suggested he might get to try out the track.Could be wrong though

dont know the answer to your question, but I do know he has done more to help Berwick Speedway over the years helping riders than most fans on the terracing. -

Where did you see Pedersen gesturing when he seen Hancock on the floor,I only seen Hancock running full tilt down the track at Pedersen. -
The Dilemma Of Greg Hancock
Fromafar replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I'm am not a fan of Pedersen ,but it is very unprofessional for Greg to carp on about him and his riding tactics. He is a 3 times world Champion and still at the top in the sport. He has a ruthless streak the many riders don't like but I have seen a lot riders just as bad as Niki.Anyone watching the SWC final would have seen some VERY RUTHLESS riding. We might have to introduce a yellow and red card system if Ref 's have to exclude riders for dangerous riding to often. Ps I have seen a lot worse than Niki's move last night on a regular basis,I reckon 60-70% of riders "close the door"on other riders on the straight. Most riders know what opponents to "look out for" and ride accordingly -
The Dilemma Of Greg Hancock
Fromafar replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Watched it a few timesGreg did drift out a little and gave Niki a opening, thought Greg would have seen it coming slightly earlier and took evasive action ,Lindgren was much harder on the young Pole on Sat in SWC,but the Pole cut back sharply and passed Lindgren into next bend, think age is catching up on Greg and the reflexes are slowing down a little.Should not have launched himself at Niki while he was still under power though, that could have been nasty,a bit of handbags in the pits would have been enough.Should be banned IMO. -
Berwick V Plymouth 20/6/15

this will be a tough one for Bandits,if Fisher has a good night, and Risager wins his usual couple of races here.Should be a close match. -
The Dilemma Of Greg Hancock
Fromafar replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
It looked a very hard move, but like others have said that SWC Final had more than few similar moves.Greg did drift slightly wide so maybe should have anticipated Niki as he knows what he is like.think it was history building up that caused his reaction, but IMO he was wrong to dive at him.
