At this stage doesn't really matter, but Sheffield have had a number of Home defeats this season,a win should have been on the cards after all it was stated that it would have taken us into 3rd place.Which again means nothing at this stage of the season with a play-off place already secured.
Can't figure out Marcin Rempala looked a class act in his few meetings for Berwick but just seems happy to plod along in Poland,Definately should have had a much better career in the sport IMO .
Part of the problem this year is some teams decided to have blank week. To accommodate missing riders and that backfired with the weather interruptions .If you are going to have meaniful competions such as theLeague Cup if you get posponement you have to have that fixture reun as soon as possible otherwise you get the Scenario of Berwick still having to race a meaningless fixture. The league cup Final has still to be run the KO cup still has semi final to be be run and guess what the BEST TEAMS this season are still involved ,causing fixture havoc. Now who could have predicted THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
I think he is the real deal given the luck which is needed in the sport.Certainly well in control and smooth on the bike,I really rate Max Fricke in years to come.
Berwick still have a League Cup fixture TBA at Glasgow,is there ant point apart from the riders losing money.the sport is a shambles and Promotions will probably lose money if the fixture takes place,Radical rethink needed.
Agree Berwick have one of their best seasons in recents years and at the start of the season I would have said qualifying for the play -offs with the Team we had on paper would be a result and they have done that.
But you know that before the season starts.I think the Champs should be the the Team with most points, but when you invent rules that Teams get to pick another 2 teams you want to race it does make it it an uneven playing field and a mockery of the sport.
