  1. Totally agree we need Team ethic to return not just watching whoever turns up for you Team this week,Promoters don't seem to want to address this issue though, just keep saying there is not enough riders to go round which I don't accept.
  2. Max is ambitious if he feels it is time to move up good luck to him.Not just hanging around to make easy money.Monarchs should do al right selling him on.
  3. Alden Vissing Jorgensen Kus Wells Roynon Covetti If they fit.
  4. It could be an interesting Edinburgh line up if Cook decides to stay .
  5. Do you not think that The BSPA should be changing the rules and make sure that riders that want to be loyal to a club are allowed .By the same token if there are no fans turning up the riders can't expect to be payed money that is not there.Full time professional speedway riders in Britain will be a thing of the past the way attendances are going or a lot of Clubs will fold..While it was a decent crowd at Armadale for the Play off Final it was not the biggest crowd I have seen there. That was the average crowd afew years ago IMO.
  6. It is a Sport, they don't have to take the risks if they don't want too, nobody is forcing them to ride Speedway to make a living.
  7. This is meant to be a Sport and Entertainment, these greedy riders that want to ride every night of the week in a different can to take as much money out of the Sport as they can should be told to go and get a proper job.We are seeing more and more jaded performers as the season goes on due to these guys just going through the motions to take the cash on offer. The Team ethics of the sport is a joke IMO
  8. agree with both posts, the average fan can see what's wrong unfortunately the Promotions cannot.
  9. I want to see the best riders possible ride in PL,but for the credibility of the sport they should only rode for 1 Team in one Country.
  10. Still injured ,needed another Op from what I gathered.Mechanic for Claus Vissing this season
  11. Thanks, thought that's what it might be,Riders turning down meetings because they won't ride for the basic rate and we wonder why the sport is in trouble!!!! .The sport can't survive at PL level on the attendances I have witnessed this season unless they have very good Sponsers IMO .
  12. Could you explain what that entails regarding funding away meetings, not sure what you mean by that statement.
  13. In the early days of 2nd division a lot of Berwick riders just starting their career came from East Anglia ,Graham Jones,Rob Hollingworth Denny Morter,Dennis Jackson to name a few.Travelling in those days was much more time consuming than today.Too many young riders want it on a plate nowadays. Most wanting silly money for what they have achieved in the sport IMO .
  14. The Somerset fans I was standing behind shared your thoughts and weren't amused. true fans I may add and very sporting of Monarchs win ,not one complaint about Ref awarding race.thats the great thing about this sport opposing fans standing together and enjoying a meeting .
  15. Your on the wrong Forum for that I'm afraid ,these things are discussed on the Monarchs Chatzone and not with the Forum Fannies!!!!
  16. I wouldn't have Doolan or Edberg back if we are trying to move forward ,can't see any improvement from them.New blood is needed.
  17. Like has been said the Ref made the correct decision using his discretion to award the race.Any rider falling May be injured.
  18. Rumour is that Berwick had sussed the Glasgow would be off today and were saving there-self for today's party.
  19. He was waiting for Pontus to finish his cup of tea.Pontus should have been fined for unsporting conduct IMO ,also some of the Rebel fans were unhappy with his actions (Pontus )as a Monarch could have fell or E/F with would have gave Somerset a win.
  20. Race can be awarded if 2 laps have been completed, and that is what happened last night.
