If you read my first post on the matter I said I don't know,but giving the fact that Plymouth Promotion said 450 was not viable for them I assume other clubs might be in the same boat.Most speedway fans know that 450 through the gate means their club is in trouble financially.You dispute this however( because you don't know anything) ,it is a forum though.!

EdinburghGlasgow Redcar Scunthorpe Plymouth Berwick These clubs have appealed to their fans in recent seasons that they were having financial difficulties running their tracks on crowd numbers so I assume it costs a fair amount to run a meeting, so 450 at Scunthorpe is a starting point .Plymouth stated a few weeks ago that 450 was not viable and closed.Fans and a Consortium have took over the running now though.

That is a rather naive way of looking at considering you seem to know a lot about the sport.IMO.Still " no worries"

I don't know how many people should be attending Pl fixture but at today's costs and riders pay rates 450 probably means it is not a viable size of crowd for the Club to survive without money from other sources.

Who would add up the scores for him though!

I agree regarding Newcastle team a bit of luck and they won't be far away when trophies are up for grabs at the sharp end of the season.

Well done to the Bandits not many teams win at Armadale irrespective of what's at stake.

Speedway is a dry track sport now,the riders won't ride if there's rain about,the promoters can't complain if fans take that view.Thats just the way the sport is these days.

The result is secondary when you watch good speedway every week at Scunthorpe .Imo

These advanced rain-offs are doing the sport a lot of harm,fans are taking the same attitude of why bother it might be raining at the end of the week and arranging something else to do.

Devalues the meeting IMO ,only a challenge though.Nothing new though.

Cant agree with you on that one.He cause the crash by stopping before the end of the race and blocking Kildemands racing line if want to look at it another way.Glad it was not more serious looked nasty.

Yeh! But when the league was formed it was meant for development of young riders basically expenses and little points money now we have a lot of failed PL riders taking most of the money out the league.If he money is not in the sport why are they paying money we can't afford in all divisions.

They had to start within the limit last year so on paper there is no difference to this season though.What you are really saying is they won't improve as much this season in your opinion!
