  1. If you read Alex Harkness statement in this weeke SS things might be clearer. You seem to be making assumptions on things you don't know about.
  2. Alex Harkness quote in SS could be interpretated that Kozza has the qualifications "as having a7.00 average at time of application" which he has.
  3. I said this a couple of weeks ago,his average could be interpretated as to mean the last time he rode in UK.Looks like it the case.
  4. Not knocking Lambert but he is not in the same League at16 as the guys you have mentioned.
  5. having not seen Lambert live I won't comment on his prospect in relation to others I have seen, but I feel he will have to get out of Uk and ride against the best riders in the World if he wants to make it to the top the EL is far from its name and will hold him backIMO
  6. I accept what you are saying ,but the sport really needs to address ways of reducing accidents, these days bikes are far too fast and riders are riding above their ability with all these slick tracks (due to bike. Technology).Berwick is not any worse than anywhere else, but long delays are killing the sport as it takes the excitement out of the meetings and newcomers cannot be impressed IMO .You can see fans leaving the Stadium these days when an accident happens, don't think that happened afew years ago.Like I said in a previous post the sport is in decline and these situations don't help.Speedway has always been dangerous so there has to be a reason for all the serious injuries in the sport,so things need to be addressed IMO
  7. Since you always bring up the subject(moaning fans)perhaps the promotion could do some thing to fill in the gaps when there is ahold up waiting for Ambulance and medical treatment if riders get injured then it would take their mind of the long delays.the promotion said last year they can't afford the extra cash involved regarding have another doctor and ambulance in attendance .First time fans won't be impressed if it is sold as an Extreme Sport but you have long delay when someone gets hurt.
  8. the locals don't seem to be a fruitful target these days.I would like to know how many fans from the Town itself make up the attendance.
  9. IMO holidaymakers are a viable target, the camps are full ALL summer during speedway season so to attract a few each week could make a contribution to the Club over a season .How to attract new local support a getting them to return is the main problem for a lot of clubs.
  10. Contact the Club. The bottom line is that the sport is in decline, and is not attracting new fans. The various reasons have been well discussed and nobody has found the answer.Ideas that seem to be suggested by fans from various clubs and sound reasonable don't seem to find favour with the people that run the sport. So be it .
  11. Noticed that Tom J took a knock at the Ben meeting and did not finish his races, any news.
  12. philosophical is not the word I would have used regarding your condition tonight.
  13. Could that not be interpreted as the previous season that rider rode in Uk. Just asking!
  14. think Max is agood announcer and knowledgeable about the sport but tends to get carried away with home team bias and sticks his oar in on too much.Good luck to him though.
  15. You don't really think they will ar#e about when it is going to cost them money?they will be lined up in time.
  16. If the time is up he should be out, that's the whole point of the 2 min warning is it not.A clock would be beneficial so the fans can see why he is out.
  17. That could be Bens signature tune when he wins his heats .there again it could also be used if he is not winning all his heats!!!
  18. Publish your odds ,I'm sure there will be plenty of takers if your thinking BB.
