It's amazing how a few days rain and a little dirt produce a decent race surface, maybe some other clubs should note this fact regarding watering tracks before race day .
Should bonus points not be counted in average (hypothically)as its a rule in the sport, the rider still gets paid for it.Team building purposes are all the bonus rule is there for Imo
The sport is a joke .Nobody seems to know the rules, made up as situations arise most days.Have to feel for Procter like has been mentioned he is not really doing a decent Brit out of a job IMO .Still rules are Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes.!
While I agree with your sentiments, due to Rules, averages ect ,it seems difficult to find riders to fit the Bill. Most Clubs are struggling to make changes IMO .
A little bit of dirt and light track watering between heats is what makes decent tracks.Riders are against track watering mainly because tracks are too slick these days IMO .It was mentioned on Sky last week that tracks that are heavily watered provide the best racing after the first few heats to turn over the shale,I think most fans would agree with that.
Numerous fans from all clubs have voice their disapproval of the guest rider system, yet the BSPA seem to make the situation worse every season with their changes IMO.No point of putting ideas forward IMO . Hawkins was decent around Berwick in 2004 when he was a Bandit,so you could be right regarding equipment.
