Speedway Promoters have to sort things out though to many meetings can't be arrange because of missing riders and self interest.Should the Banner state Speedway every Saturday when that is not the fact.British speedway needs a complete revamp.It won't happen though.

Agree,the Banner in the Town Centre advertises speedway every Saturday which won't help the cause when people turn up to find no meeting .The high of the holiday season and very few meetings same last year.

Was that as good a meeting as Nig and Kelvin made it out to be.Apart from the drama regarding score line was the racing any thing special.?

Looking at the table it could be very tight for the sixth place here's hoping the fixtures can be completed in time, but there are a couple of clubs might struggle to manage too.

Looked a decent meeting and track look superb.

They are both just gaters IMO ,but they are good gaters,but when the going gets tough they are not reliable especially away from Ashfield. think there was more than lack of points behind Barket getting shown the door IMO .Bach is a slick track gating tart so Ashfield might be a problem for him.

Lawson and Summers often come up short late in meetings away from home.Home form keeps them a decent average.

Anyone who did not enjoy that as a speedway meeting should really be looking for a new sport to watch.

I have a number of programmes from 1971/2 from various tracks when the British riders wintered there and rode against each in team matches are they collectable items !

That was your average speedway meeting nowadays ,gate and you win, miss the gate and just sit at the back because you are not likely to pass anybody unless they make a mistake.EL or PL it doesn't matter.Smaller the track the better as the riders stay closer but still not much passing.
