When the going gets tough Lambert tends to go missing if he doesn’t gate.The new scoring system should help him ,but 1 rider from the last chance heats maybe spoils it with the hard chargers coming to the fore (Lingren Doyle and Bartosz don’t take prisoners in these situations)

Bastion not living up to expectations threw a spanner in the works even although he had a low average improvement was expected.Sam has had a ropey start to the season,moving into 3or 4 is big ask.Danyon being inconsistent does help matters though. The rest are doing OK.Hopefully Cookie continues his very good start to the season.unfortunately very small league makes it a short season if your not on it from the start.

He figured that out for the last 2 seasons .IMO His ride and pass of Kurtz tonight was sublime.Had to win to get 1st gate choice just stepped up and did it.

Obviously they are trying to sort out the problem until the last minute.Certainly responded by E mail quick enough when it was realised it couldn’t be fixed(whatever reason)

Most Heatleaders in the Championship are at the journeyman stage of their career these days.It is a National Championship though.

It’s unfortunate, but it’s short season can’t afford too carry riders who look well of the pace.He certainly was struggling whether it was confidence or injury.

Don’t think MJJ is a good a rider as Fricke although he is having a good season this year.Fricke has had a better career.IMO

IMO at Nathan’s level you have to jump at the chance if it comes along.Nothing against the lad and wish him luck.BUT.
