  1. Watched it a few timesGreg did drift out a little and gave Niki a opening, thought Greg would have seen it coming slightly earlier and took evasive action ,Lindgren was much harder on the young Pole on Sat in SWC,but the Pole cut back sharply and passed Lindgren into next bend, think age is catching up on Greg and the reflexes are slowing down a little.Should not have launched himself at Niki while he was still under power though, that could have been nasty,a bit of handbags in the pits would have been enough.Should be banned IMO.
  2. this will be a tough one for Bandits,if Fisher has a good night, and Risager wins his usual couple of races here.Should be a close match.
  3. It looked a very hard move, but like others have said that SWC Final had more than few similar moves.Greg did drift slightly wide so maybe should have anticipated Niki as he knows what he is like.think it was history building up that caused his reaction, but IMO he was wrong to dive at him.
  4. Comet 49 is near enough 24.6 from Edinburgh city centre to Armadale
  5. Yeh Max is definitely the centre green Ref at Ashfield ,keeps the Ref informed if there is any anomalies concerning away riders!!!!
  6. Agree, the point I'm making is you still have same scenario as before if you are going to allow the mechanics time.Just put them on 1 min if it's a false start,at least it would save some time.
  7. The classic was last meeting Edinburgh were at Ashfield ,Branford got excluded for going into pits after a false start. Now the riders just get their mechanics to run in and out of the pits, what's the point!!!
  8. Agree, what is the point when all that happens now is to employ a fit mechanic.Another stupid rule that can be broken legally.
  9. It is not a dig ,I am just pointing out that the Post was probably fact rather than a guess .The rules are very unclear in our sport. If you read my earlier comments on the thread you will see my point,I was pointing out that "Al" probably knew what he was talking about.Your ignorance on this subject also shows IMO.Your interpretation of my post is incorrect .
  10. I'm sure"Al Stewart" would have consulted with Alex Harkness regarding that rule, which is obviously somewhere in the "how to interpretat the rule book" before he posted his post regarding this matter. Its time a gallon of petrol and a match were used on the rule book and start again.
  11. That was a fantastic speedway meeting, had everything. The riders showed fantastic skills in tight situations.
  12. It's just a cunning marketing ploy by the Promotion to get more AWAY supporters to turn up at the Dale, but well done to the Tigers.
  13. The main problem nowadays is British Style tracks are no longer a must to learn your trade.Tracks abroad are more suited to the modern machinery nowadays so unless the up and coming talent can get opportunities to ride abroad on a regular basis it will not help their development.Good to see Tai trying to do something for the young lads though.Wouldnt hold my breath on the outcome though.
  14. Were starting to employ the 48 hr notice rule that Horton invented last week.Starting at 24hrs and working up to 48hr.
  15. Its pretty obvious that Harris has no idea regarding bike set/ups or mechanical knowledge, his career is littered with interviews saying " it was the bike and we'll get it right for the next one".He has had the skills but doesn't seem to have had the right people round him for most of his career .Either that or he does not listen.
  16. Good win for Bandits, any away win is difficult.Good all round Team performance .Why is Ben having so many bike failures ,it is a worry .
  17. I read but what about Grigori Laguta what's up with him
  18. If the Russians could solve their disputes and put out their 4 best riders they would give the Poles a run for their money.
