  1. Its his damn bikes they stop when you shut the throttle off.
  2. Harris is an entertaining rider, but true World Class he is not.End off.He is riding at his level for the last few seasons. The engine carry -on is his business .IMO.but he seems to lack something in the mechanical knowledge so perhaps he should be interested in such a project.Only my opinion.
  3. 2 off the most attractive fixtures on paper at Berwick this season(Glasgow and now Peterborough)have been devalued by under strength Teams turning up.Whilst I agree that you cannot forecast what a meeting will turn out like entertainment wise ,it is really a poor reflection on the sport nowadays. How many times this season will there be 14 riders turn up for a meeting .Chuffed you may be but it is a joke IMO .
  4. Given the standard off racing it will be a travesty if Scunthorpe don't survive.Shows the state the sport is in.They are not the only club in that boat.
  5. could some bright spark in the Berwick Promotion not inquire about the situation as they surely knew this situation could arise as they know Dansh League runs on a Wed,instead of sitting around waiting for it too happen instead of shouting the praise of another Sky meeting. If so maybe another Premier League Team would have been able to full fill the fixture instead of turning it into a farce. With Robert Lambert though !!!
  6. Nobody ever has a full Team these days, that's why fans couldn't care whether they go or not.Its just 7 v 7 that might be entertaining if your not busy.
  7. Is it not in the Berwick "policy rules" not to talk "in the street" it only leads to rumours which have nothing to do with Berwick Speedway.
  8. would it not be better if the people who write the rules can agree with each other on clarity before printing them, once again in speedway rules interpretation means everything. Not good IMO.
  9. Nothing against Kyle but think he is overrated ,been around a while don't think there is much improvement left in him.
  10. Guess. the Headline in the Bandits Newsletter this week."" World Champ at Berwick"
  11. Given the nature of the sport shoulder dislocations are one of the worst injuries IMO .It does show up the flaw in the the rules but Hey Ho nothing new there in Speedway. not worth worrying about, the Team that can utilise the guests best will win the league anyway.
  12. speedwayengines are capable of much high speeds ,it's the gearing and the set-up that determines how they handle track conditions,in GB especially the tracks are less compatible than abroad to modern day technology IMO .
  13. Shoulder injuries are nasty ended a few riders career, think it could be the end for him given the trouble over the last few seasons.wish him a good recovery though.
  14. There is not much being said about young Holder but he is banging in impressive scores at most tracks, for his 1st season he is class.
  15. Indeed,Fisher at Berwick last night wasn't for giving "racing room" but opposition just got on with it.
  16. Looks like you were correct .Do you know the underlying reason or is it a secret.
  17. Think you are talking about 2 different things !
  18. Football and Rugby are based on Squads of Players making up the team(still your team).Speedway has guests and R/r which is not the same IMO.Its not a good example to compare them.
  19. When the going gets tough Glasgow look as though they will come up short IMO .Not a match to remember but decent win for Bandits.Morris and Fisher are entertainers never give up a chase .
  20. funny how you decided not to highlight the rest of the sentence that I quoted, but anything for a dig.At there present averages only gets them a reserve berth in Pl irrespective of what they do abroad and it certainly doesn't benefit British Speedway them missing so many meetings.Ps Why is there no home meeting at Glasgow tomorrow.Let me guess!! can see Howe jacking it in or getting the chop if his performances so far are anything to go by.
  21. Riss has that touch of class required to go a long way in the sport should he want to concentrate on speedway more than Long track.
