  1. It does! At least the fans know what the options are.The sport is in mess though attracting new investors might be difficult.
  2. The announcement has been made,we will just have to wait and see the outcome.
  3. He would probably be able to set up Bombers bikes better that Bomber!!
  4. Misunderstaning I meant Berwicks Swede Thornbolm, and who ia at reserve for Berwick next month.
  5. Not sure if the track was prepared to put Rockets off but it certainly backfired as Edberg and Kus certainly don't like heavy tracks .A heavy shower of rain late afternoon maybe didn't help in that respect.Credit to the Rockets they done most of the overtaking. The new Swede look good though.Who will be at reserve next month?
  6. He is in total control of the bike at all times and has superb bike handling skills ,never looks in trouble and is very calculated with his moves.Sheer Class.Maybe he has "rocket ships" but you still have have to be able to handle them.
  7. Well done to the Rockets no excuses they just got on with it and wanted it more.
  8. Agree 100% the sport is struggling to be taken seriously.you will get the usual quotes that the injuries are no worse than before, but surely that statistic is going out the window .
  9. Is this setting a dangerous precedence, will video evidence be used to determine who cause crashes and issue them with bans when reviewed by BSPA after the event if a Promoter files a complaint.Tungate appears to have been out of order but like other posters comment that has happened before.Auty is no angel on occasions I have seen him ride but that's Speedway and it is a dangerous sport.
  10. Always is with you.Just me and some others see it differently. But it's a forum and it's about opinions.
  11. That is typical of speedway rulebook it can be interpretated differently by everyone.
  12. I think you will find Thomas asked to leave Scunthorpe. There is no point in keeping a rider who doesn't want to ride for the club.
  13. You can't really defend Alex's retiring from races .He certainly has got good machinery. He has reach his level IMO.
  14. Put the big wooden spoon away, you will start a riot .
  15. The expectation of the guests is too much IMO.When they come as a visiting rider they only have a couple of Bandits to really beat , but when they guest it's a different story as heat leaders from most other clubs ride Shielfield well and can gate.
  16. It's obvious at Berwick that gating is crucial, you don't have to the fastest rider to stay in front if you ride the right lines on 1st/2ndbend and if you lead down the back straight you will take a lot of beating .it's totally baffling that riders that ride at Home every week cannot set up their bike to gate better, fact is some of them are not good enough.IMO. Surely it's not a huge expectation to win at Home,we have a guest for our No1 and R/r for the other.Riders taking extra rides at home should be able to cope IMO .Away is a different matter though.
  17. Sadly I was wrong they did have another off night.Well done to Monarchs and Liam.Cook had an off night only got 14.
  18. Did the seagull pass him round the outside or did it force its way through on the inside, that is the question!! should it have been excluded.!
  19. Glasgow reserves that night were crap.He might well beat Alex and Richard but really they would have to be having another off-night(hopefully not). Say that again!!
  20. Agree, riders have to be realistic or go find a job out of the sport. Many promotions are paying rates they can't afford.
  21. Reserves are the key men on paper Berwick have the edge but on track some times not so.Can see it being a very tight match if Cook cleans up.
