  1. Is it not in the Berwick "policy rules" not to talk "in the street" it only leads to rumours which have nothing to do with Berwick Speedway.
  2. would it not be better if the people who write the rules can agree with each other on clarity before printing them, once again in speedway rules interpretation means everything. Not good IMO.
  3. Nothing against Kyle but think he is overrated ,been around a while don't think there is much improvement left in him.
  4. Guess. the Headline in the Bandits Newsletter this week."" World Champ at Berwick"
  5. Given the nature of the sport shoulder dislocations are one of the worst injuries IMO .It does show up the flaw in the the rules but Hey Ho nothing new there in Speedway. not worth worrying about, the Team that can utilise the guests best will win the league anyway.
  6. speedwayengines are capable of much high speeds ,it's the gearing and the set-up that determines how they handle track conditions,in GB especially the tracks are less compatible than abroad to modern day technology IMO .
  7. Shoulder injuries are nasty ended a few riders career, think it could be the end for him given the trouble over the last few seasons.wish him a good recovery though.
  8. There is not much being said about young Holder but he is banging in impressive scores at most tracks, for his 1st season he is class.
  9. Indeed,Fisher at Berwick last night wasn't for giving "racing room" but opposition just got on with it.
  10. Looks like you were correct .Do you know the underlying reason or is it a secret.
  11. Think you are talking about 2 different things !
  12. Football and Rugby are based on Squads of Players making up the team(still your team).Speedway has guests and R/r which is not the same IMO.Its not a good example to compare them.
  13. When the going gets tough Glasgow look as though they will come up short IMO .Not a match to remember but decent win for Bandits.Morris and Fisher are entertainers never give up a chase .
  14. funny how you decided not to highlight the rest of the sentence that I quoted, but anything for a dig.At there present averages only gets them a reserve berth in Pl irrespective of what they do abroad and it certainly doesn't benefit British Speedway them missing so many meetings.Ps Why is there no home meeting at Glasgow tomorrow.Let me guess!! can see Howe jacking it in or getting the chop if his performances so far are anything to go by.
  15. Riss has that touch of class required to go a long way in the sport should he want to concentrate on speedway more than Long track.
  16. Naff foreigners I am talking about are in the Pl.Glasgow tonight being an example.though to be fair Glasgow's could improve their averages, but there plenty other examples in the last few years in PL.Like I say it's in the interpretation in Speedway. Definately Weaker IMO.+Fisher is very hit or miss this season, here's hoping it is the former tonight.Edberg is the key man for Berwick tonight IMO a slick will be required.
  17. if that's your interpretation of my post fair enough.Just giving my view.
  18. This situation has been brewing for a few seasons now IMO.talk among true speedway fans the last few seasons was "surely the EL can't go on like this" but it has, their solution to sort it out ,the mess has impacted on to the PL now and is bring it down in credibility.Original Second Division start there were a fair percentage of young riders came into the sport just like the NL now, while lots were not expieranced they learned by riding in teams.I think the answer is to merge as many young riders from NL into PL to make up shortage of riders,Put stricter rules for under achieving foreign riders and don't use them to shore up teams just because they have an average that fits the points limit.Averages really have to be looked at and not made such an important part of speedway(it's on the track entertainment that counts).Riders averages can be false on a lot of occasions giving how they are obtained on track.Think we have to take a step back regarding standard of riders that we use to progress the sport forward again.Imo there are a number of expieranced riders "massage" their averages to make sure their average doesn't hinder their chance of aTeam place the next season. What you see now is " middle order men" being the sought after riders and costing the Promotions too much money.Thats my view for what it's worth.
  19. There doesn't seem to be answer, but it is having a major effect on the credibility of the sport and there is no doubt that a lot of fans are unhappy at all tracks these days.Radical shake up required.
  20. Have Berwick confirmed the Teams for tomorrow, haven't seen it any where? Edit Have just seen it on website.
