  1. The expectation of the guests is too much IMO.When they come as a visiting rider they only have a couple of Bandits to really beat , but when they guest it's a different story as heat leaders from most other clubs ride Shielfield well and can gate.
  2. It's obvious at Berwick that gating is crucial, you don't have to the fastest rider to stay in front if you ride the right lines on 1st/2ndbend and if you lead down the back straight you will take a lot of beating .it's totally baffling that riders that ride at Home every week cannot set up their bike to gate better, fact is some of them are not good enough.IMO. Surely it's not a huge expectation to win at Home,we have a guest for our No1 and R/r for the other.Riders taking extra rides at home should be able to cope IMO .Away is a different matter though.
  3. Sadly I was wrong they did have another off night.Well done to Monarchs and Liam.Cook had an off night only got 14.
  4. Did the seagull pass him round the outside or did it force its way through on the inside, that is the question!! should it have been excluded.!
  5. Glasgow reserves that night were crap.He might well beat Alex and Richard but really they would have to be having another off-night(hopefully not). Say that again!!
  6. Agree, riders have to be realistic or go find a job out of the sport. Many promotions are paying rates they can't afford.
  7. Reserves are the key men on paper Berwick have the edge but on track some times not so.Can see it being a very tight match if Cook cleans up.
  8. Could you explain your theory on that point, they are already using R/r and guests at the moment can't see the logic. I'm afraid.
  9. He is a decent PL. rider no more and should be able to make some money at that level. No point spending huge money to tuners if you are not riding at highest level. He will be taking home decent money for a nights work.
  10. Riding away from Shielfield will further his career.
  11. I rate Bellego and he is club asset ,but IMO you would get good odds on him riding a season at Shielfield again.Suspect temperament like his fellow Frenchman I fear.
  12. Maybe he should tell his income and outlay for the season ,then we could feel sorry for him.Probably more than most fans 9-5 job 5 days a week.
  13. Good positive move ,with Bens average dropping Decent guests would have been hard to find.If he does a job could be handy asset. THJ is a GP rider
  14. Apologies it slipped my mind that you are still in your virtual world.
  15. Yeah but not everybody sees it that way unfortunately, don't think crowds this season have been as good as recent seasons, but your are not supposed to say on a Berwick thread or your seen as whinging,as long as you enjoy your night out that's all that matters.
  16. By the same token we did not finish in front of away riders at Home to Ipswich and Peterborough.Did you expect that.I think we should be able to beat Monarchs but we have riders that are far too inconsistant at their Home track IMO .
  17. I fancy the Sheffield Tigers will scrape through.Like the look of their guests
  18. Thats the hard bit for the team at the moment though both finishing in front off the other away rider thus conceding heat advantages and losing matches at home. With a good guest it should be close match could go either way IMO .
  19. Loss of Memory at times comes in handy.
  20. The league ,It's now a find the right guest competition,be interesting when it comes to the Play-off one guest could just about ride for every Team and his own!!!!!!! You couldn't make it up.!!!!!
  21. did he not leave when the present Promotion split with Linda Waite.
