  1. Is there a definite deadline for declaring whether we run next season or not. Will the present Promotion definitely give up their licence if no offers of help or takeover are forthcoming.Overtures seem to indicate that they have lost their enthusiasm rather than huge financial losses.
  2. I enjoyed it,even although the track was slick the riders could try any moves without fear of hitting ruts and taking off like you see on these temporary tracks.Give world class riders decent permanent tracks and you would see some decent GPs most weeks.
  3. Sweden are World Cup Team Champions, hardly puts them in the same boat as GB.IMO
  4. Dont think the Promotion would have any say in the matter,It was an Individual meeting and the decision would be up to TJ.IMO.
  5. Dont think its injury as he scored 15 from 6 rides on Sat with falling .Old injuries return this time of the season though.
  6. Amount of guests might be hard to figure out who your Team Mate is on the night.!!!!!!!!
  7. While Rye were well beaten there was no lack of effort from all their riders, and at least we seen the young guys like Ruddick and Basford get track time and they put in 4 laps of effort each time they were out on track, which is refreshing considering some of the things we have had to watch this season.
  8. Whats that got to do with getting young Brits into PL,which is what I think needs to happen.
  9. That will be a couple of beers and let's go go watch the meeting.
  10. Well done to Harris, that was a decent line-up and he has done it again and qualified on merit.Im not his biggest fan GP wise but you can't knock him when does it on merit.
  11. agree, interesting BSPA conference, but wouldn't hold my breath on outcome.
  12. Dont think the crowd was any worse than a lot of meetings this season.
  13. that is why British Speedway is in the state it is in.Fans have had enough.
  14. How many meetings has King done in Poland this season, compare that to his meetings for Coventry and Ipswich, where is he earning his living from.He is never going to get into the Polish big League.Let him ride in Poland full time if he really wants too.He has peaked as a rider IMO.I am not sticking the boot in just pointing out why I think the BSPA have to get their house in order.
  15. I have asked you already on this thread, tell me the reason why King is not riding.
  16. did someone tell you that,or have you just worked it out for yourself.Personaly think it was the former. There is always next season.
  17. Agree can see what's going on with young riders in Midlands and other venues but action has to be taken to get these riders in the PL.Years ago when it was tried and Boxall made a mockery of the averages they didn't know what to do.Imo grading riders would be a better way than averages.I have always said IMO averages are killing the sport.I know we need some control regarding riders though.
  18. I agree with your posts regarding the sport, unfortunately a lot of fans have deserted the sport for the reasons you mention IMO and won't be back.Young Brits should be Pl reserves and not 2nd rate foreigners. If a foreigner does not achieve his assessed starting average he should not be allowed back in Pl the following season.
  19. Or hardly Berwicks fault who turns up for the opposition is it !!
  20. This is where the BSPA have to get their house in order regarding speedway in UK ,introduce rules regarding riders wanting to ride in UK and where their priorities lie.Let riders who want to earn their money abroad go ahead but not at the expense of making UK speedway a joke, plenty young riders would take the opportunity to step up .We have to step back to move forward again IMO.
