  1. A few hangovers this morning I would assume, after the big Week-End.!!!!!!! Ps I am not talking about the Play off Final.
  2. I would like to know how many Monarchs FANS genuinely think Tigers running on the same night would affect attendances at Armadale.IMO the Tigers promotion have a point, but do feel the last couple of paragraphs in the "Letter" are a little petty and unprofessional.
  3. c'mon guys your upsetting the Berwick Fans with all this bickering, hogging the limelight.!!!!
  4. I don't know as I didn't organise it !! But what I would suggest is Edin & Glas had to rush the Final this week-end because Masters and Sedgeman are of to Oz this week for GP.
  5. Cooks speed In his heats last night was spectacular his pass on Lawson and away into the distance was brilliant.
  6. Some of them might be at Promoters AGM which I believe is this weekend.I agree with your sentiments though if it was possible.
  7. Have to agree, don't really thinks riding on the same evening would make any significant difference to either clubs attendances.Glasgow seem to have boosted their crowds this season so in the long run that would help Speedway in general.
  8. Well done to Monarchs,Cook Masters and Wolbert are sheer class round the Dale.Lawson,Sargeant and Sticky got pass marks for effort .The other 3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. maybe cause they are listening to the fans, plus the fact Sunday racing limits the riders who are available due to foreign commitments.Thats 2 reasons I reckon.
  10. There are plenty meetings at this time of year run on wet tracks with ruts ect.Lighting isn't brilliant at a lot of tracks ,I'm sure if it is a problem at Ashfield it will be rectified for next season.Should not be used as excuses.
  11. He can get excluded/fined as it is ,do you ban every rider who "anticipates" the start. Its frustrating but the Ref is the one who controls the buttons. We have seen from TV that it's 50/50 whether it was good start or a "flyer" from the rider concerned, maybe they have to look at the Refs.
  12. i would have though getting back to Edinburgh would be the favoured option at the end of the day.
  13. While riders safety should always come first ,this issue regarding Ambulance and Doctor attendance and transfer of patient and his injury notes to the 2nd Ambulance when the situation arises is major concern in the sport.these type of delays are not acceptable and killing the meeting stone dead with all the hanging about. While a number of tracks struggle to find a 2nd doctor others say they can't afford it and some are lucky that have fans as Docters that can be called on if required (without expense I assume).it is a thorny subject and I am not having ago at any particular Promotion but the situation has to be addressed properly.New fans are not going to stand twiddling there thumbs is this situation wondering what's going on ,they won't be back the next week!!! Speedy recovery to injured riders and hope for a cracking trouble free 2nd leg tonight.Monarchs start favourites but it's on a knife edge IMO .Probably depends who guests for Summers and Branford or bike failures.
  14. Maybe the Monarchs will have to change their name to the Armadale Monarchs to stop any confusion about the distance between tracks.might baffle the Judge !!!!!!!!!!'
  15. Judging by his website he is NOT retiring.Riding in UK next season but does not who for .I would like to see him back at Berwick but not so sure he will be,hope I'm wrong though.
  16. Agree,Kozza is an entertainer but his exploits on the track are in decline and he is injury prone.Points mean prizes at Ashfield nowadays.
  17. Looks like the Ref want to be the star of the show(mcgregor might be behind him in the box giving advice)
