  1. Cant believe there was not enough room on that track to miss a few ruts, most of these guys spend doing that at every man made indoor track at GP's.Some one has to get a grip regarding riders deciding at the last minute they don't fancy riding.I have said it before but if it was an Open Meeting with prize money that might be lost if meeting was cancelled they would crawl round and divide it up.Sad days for the Sport.
  2. So he is saying the track was constructed with no input or supervision by anybody to do with speedway track knowledge. You couldn't make it up.
  3. Was one of them not a metal sphere ,they used ride round inside of it.
  4. If you say so! The riders don't give a toss about the paying public nowadays just where their next pay packet is coming from.A Speedway bike can also be set up to cope with different conditions and the throttle works both ways. Yes it is true, you might have the best facility in the Country but there will be nobody there to watch it if that is how it is run!
  5. That's 24 hrs past, all done and dusted now time to move on too the next c#ck up and forget it happened ,as is the norm regarding the sport. They just don't give a toss about the fans.IMO.
  6. I agree, these are the same guys who go out" playing "Moto- crossing in the winter months with no though of it being dangerous and no medical stall at hand, yet cannot control the throttle of a speedway bike. The sport is just farcical nowadays. The majority of the riders last night would have been just going thought the motions last night as a warm up anyway.
  7. Ok , I thought that too,but thought I read somewhere last week that he wasn't coming over this year.
  8. Thought Procter has said he is staying at home this year?
  9. At least everybody seems to be singing from the same hymn sheet now ,it's only a couple of seasons ago that this advertising in holiday centres etc was a waste of time among some of the people running the show.
  10. Spare a thought for Berwick fans we have DB every week.
  11. Just my opinion, and you are entitled to yours.
  12. I have never thought Bates is in control of the bike watching him ride, the bike is taking him round most of the the time.
  13. Mountain and Mole Hill spring to mind regarding fixture clash. Its obvious it will all be sorted out in plenty time.
  14. Do the BSPA not tell other clubs they can't run a fixture on the same day as a BSPA EVENT
  15. Liam is interesting for me he really needs to kick on this season ,he has been around a bit but is not consistent enough for me.Granted his injury held him back, but really needs show something now giving the nature of his protected position.
  16. If Alden and Mellgren can ride to their potential Berwick might surprise a few .Jury is out on the Glasgow line up for me !!
  17. Mike's devotion to cause of Monarchs is legendary his work behind the scenes is probably one of the reason the Monarchs still exist IMO .Wish him well and in good health on his semi - retirement.
  18. Y Have to agree can't afford to win too many matches with so little in hand .Think Ty was being a bit naughty here.Might backfire on him.
  19. Surely after last years trouble Procter knew this when signed for Comets .the Question is Did the Comets know ?
  20. It is,has been renovated though, just like Ashfield.
  21. He is.Just don't lie about it in an interview .
  22. Have to agree ,stood on centre green at the week before he joined Panthers and never mentioned that he was returning from injury never mind that he had spoke to Panthers and was as good as signed.I put him in the Lewis Bridger mould when comparing riders and attitude.
