  1. Typical BSPA ,they still don't know what is in the "best interests of the sport" nothing changes!
  2. Given your connection with the Club could you not just correct the Poster if he has misunderstood the Newsletter .
  3. I ha I have no complaints regarding him coming back to PL,all I saying is it was his choice,he felt he could not go any further in PL terms, but now he needs money so PL is his easy option,as nobody else wants him abroad.Like I said in another post there are plenty riders of Cooks standard abroad.
  4. Certainly ups the average age of the Team we will have the most expierianced Team in the League!!!!!!!
  5. It is ,income v expenditure is what it is all about .
  6. It is interesting that Brummies failed at EL and PL level in recent seasons and appear to have found NL attracts there best crowds.Think that tells you something regarding watching the same riders in your Team most weeks.IMO. Plus not paying overrated foreign rider more money that what they are worth.
  7. They may be cheaper, chasing big money is a dodgy business. He was trying to be ambitious though.IMO you don't have to ride abroad to be a GP rider ,I suppose riding against the top men might help though. There are plenty "Craig Cooks" in the sport regarding talent.
  8. I have similar thoughts on a lot of your points, unfortunately we all know it is never going to happen.
  9. Plus when does the money get paid.
  10. Only had Couple of meetings not picked every week.
  11. I wouldn't ,don't think the service would be viable.IMO
  12. G I agree with a lot of your points but for me sadly the sport is just in to much of mess to be taken seriously as a National competition nowadays and is just 4guys doing 4 laps and a lot of fans just take it or leave,if somethings else pops up.Personaly a few years ago my social life revolved round the sport not now though. Its just not credible to me .
  13. He should have been wary of the Poland situation, there were better riders than him been treated the same way in Poland.I appreciate what he was trying to do though.
  14. If these 7 riders all turn up together for a meeting they have a good Team. How many important meetings they do remains to be seen
  15. The trouble is that 99.9% of BSPA marketing teams ideas are make on the back of the same fag packet judging by their results.
  16. Dont see any reason that an expierianced ,seasoned,International rider like Watt should be given time to improve should be ready from the off. What was he doing all winter!
  17. Think certain posters should accept that others posters are expressing their own opinion whether it be negitive or positive rather than troll them with their own thoughts.Like someone pointed out there is only small number of posters on the forum on any one topic it certainly doesn't make any difference to who attends a match or who stays at home.IMO It is a forum and it is about opinions ,so as long as they are not abusive just accept what is said by other posters.
  18. Good news, although the fixtures have been against our nearest local tracks which might make a difference.Hopefully the crowds will hold up. Maybe 95% of the fans that still attend the others have gave up long ago.
  19. The plain fact is the sport is not attracting new fans in any great numbers and the regulars are getting older and are easily put off with the way the sport is being Promoted by the people at the top IMO.
  20. Its no good having Danes in the team if you don't have slick track.Peterborough track with a bit of dirt does produce great racing though.
