  1. Typical these days,Monster won't be happy but it will soon be forgotten about.Fans let down again.F.I.M. Should ban him from competing for a couple of weeks if they had any sense.
  2. Maybe not at the same stage of career, but as far as talent on a bike they both have it.Fricke knows what he wants and knows how to go about achieving it.Lambert is a little suspect in that department regarding guiding his career with what I have seen up to now.
  3. When you watch the style and class of Max Fricke it makes you realise how far behind the young talent in GB is,we only have Robert Lambert in the same League.Watching Garrity and Bates holding on too their bucking Broncos brings it home IMO
  4. They maybe read my Post!! Regarding the match it was a bit of both Tigers were very quick and Bandits were poor,at least Bandits can't blame their gating as they made the first bend in front but came out the second bend behind a number of times.
  5. No excuses we were crap and Tigers made us look silly round the 1st and 2nd bend.Lunna rode really well and was bursting a gut. There's always next season for a Top Six finish.Excellent attendance pity it was so one-sided.Still a couple of sticky matches to come at Home if we don't improve IMO.
  6. No car park and a Queue can see some on here giving it a miss.!!!!!!!!'mmmmmmm
  7. Think Monarchs will finish up above Tigers in Top 6 unless Tigers get the finger out and win some away matches this week
  8. On the other hand you would have to exclude the 3rd and 4th riders as they weren't trying to pass 2 riders who weren't trying.!!!!!!!!!!!Joker rule is a farce .
  9. Jesus, what's the big deal about parking,if you don't want to use the arrangements that have been provide, pretty sure you could still park in the street within reasonable distance of the Stadium. They not going to shut down Manchester for this event.
  10. Lets be honest he is not exactly having a decent run against the top men in GPs.
  11. I agree,if you look at most clubs fixture list they all have reserved dates on their race nights for cup runs and rain offs but nowadays they are redundant due to missing riders and clubs not wishing to take the fixture on the available dates. They are all scrambling to complete fixture before cut off dates because of this.
  12. Iam certainly not blaming Glasgow it's just the state of the sport these days.A previous post from Crescent Girl is even saying Berwick would not go to Glasgow unless it suited.Doubling Up/Down is totally out of control now IMO .Speedway used to be weekly during the summer months at your local track now its when it suits and fans just find other things to do and drift away from the sport because of the confusion regarding fixtures.Looks like taking the Sky meeting was the crux of the matter.I will be there on Wed should be a decent meeting and could be tricky for the Bandits.
  13. Surely Glasgow have to accept one of the dates offered if it is the other Clubs race day .No wonder the fixtures don't get completed in time.Everything get crammed into the last month of the season.Promotions complain they can't advertise fixtures because of the congestion ,weather becomes an issue and the sport struggles along!!
  14. Is there not a Standard Pay rate for PL riders irrespective of what the riders actually negotiate with the clubs?
  15. Hopefully the "Sky Money "compensates for the lower than usual income fron this fixture.i agree the rider situation is not helpful and is killing the sport IMO Berwick caused it by accepting the Sky fixture by the looks of it.IMO
  16. Surely if the home Team can fulfill the fixture on their regular race night the opposition should be made to accept the match and employ the guest rules(not that I like guest situations) it is damaging Berwicks situation IMO by having no Speedway on their regular race night. It will be interesting to see the crowd level for this fixture which is usually pretty healthy when the Tigers are in Town.
  17. Well done to the Devils.Good results for the "so called underdogs ".
  18. Apart from Lambert don't think our you guys are in the same League.
  19. Dont think riders would look at that way, 1 more race per meeting and a couple of 3 pt wins might offset the costs.Riders know the score,if that was the case they would be refusing Ht 15's.
  20. Slightly dodgy weather forecast, early days though might chance.
  21. Lets face it other Team members are not going to complain about using R/R for your No1 when all the Heat Leaders get an extra ride and a chance for more income.Money is what it is all about.
  22. Think the point being made is the population has not changed that much.I can remember the days when Shielfield crowd were regular 1000-1500.The last 10 years a 1000 for a normal match would be a big attendance .
