  1. Did he not ride later in the meeting? Could be wrong. It look really bad he was jammed between the fence and the lighting pylon.
  2. I think a lot of fans just give it a miss nowadays if it's a dodgy weather forecast because you just don't know you are going to see .10-15 heats, standing about while riders make up their mind usually deciding NO.its just not worth the money and hassle.
  3. While it was a good result for Team GB,for me Robert Lamberts effort and track skills showed how good he really is for someone so young where as Cook and King are easily brushed aside if they don't get a clear run and are "one line wonders" on a big fast track. These young Poles have everything speed, track craft and are world class.Cook and King are not IMO .
  4. Yesterday's match at Ashfield highlights to me why the jury is still out on the use of track covers. It is commendable to try and get a match on by the use of covers but is the effort laying and removing them really worth if the forecast at the time the meeting is due to start is not 100% dry and staying dry..The riders simply won't ride nowadays if it rains during a meeting as was highlighted yesterday. The track yesterday had a fair amount of shale on it and the track grade after what I would call as all small amount of rain was nessessary but the meeting should have been completed. The 2 races after Ht 11 were OK in my opinion the riders coped well yet the ref called it off when in fact the rain had ceased. It was obvious the Edinburgh were trying to get it called off for reasons of damaged limitation and it was a poor show from them IMO .Track Covers are not the answer IMO .Detuned bikes and shale on the track is what is needed.
  5. Thats how I saw it.Think he would have collected Jonsson if he had not got off.
  6. still trying to figure out how Ht 15 was not run,the rain had stopped the track was rideable IMO .Public short changed again .Health and Safety no doubt.Need to get brakes fitted next.Masters still suffering from night before IMO .
  7. 100%agre reminded me of these great BLRC meetings at Hyde Road.
  8. i was just pointing out that Bewley is still an assessed 3ptNL rider and Danny isn't .He now has an average.
  9. Danny Ayres has a 3.74 average,Bewley is still on an assessed 3pt average.
  10. We always seem to be entertaining visitors but always seem to crumble in the last few heats against decent teams away from home. When we have had a win and a draw it was due to or selected guest have a good night.
  11. I was impressed with Luke Becker gave it everything.I also agree with many on here Fricke should have been excluded I am abig fan of Max but he dived in and got himself into trouble.
  12. That could be the reason most tracks don't bother with the use of track covers, the weather on the day is so unpredictable .
  13. Typical these days,Monster won't be happy but it will soon be forgotten about.Fans let down again.F.I.M. Should ban him from competing for a couple of weeks if they had any sense.
  14. Maybe not at the same stage of career, but as far as talent on a bike they both have it.Fricke knows what he wants and knows how to go about achieving it.Lambert is a little suspect in that department regarding guiding his career with what I have seen up to now.
  15. When you watch the style and class of Max Fricke it makes you realise how far behind the young talent in GB is,we only have Robert Lambert in the same League.Watching Garrity and Bates holding on too their bucking Broncos brings it home IMO
  16. They maybe read my Post!! Regarding the match it was a bit of both Tigers were very quick and Bandits were poor,at least Bandits can't blame their gating as they made the first bend in front but came out the second bend behind a number of times.
  17. No excuses we were crap and Tigers made us look silly round the 1st and 2nd bend.Lunna rode really well and was bursting a gut. There's always next season for a Top Six finish.Excellent attendance pity it was so one-sided.Still a couple of sticky matches to come at Home if we don't improve IMO.
  18. No car park and a Queue can see some on here giving it a miss.!!!!!!!!'mmmmmmm
  19. Think Monarchs will finish up above Tigers in Top 6 unless Tigers get the finger out and win some away matches this week
  20. On the other hand you would have to exclude the 3rd and 4th riders as they weren't trying to pass 2 riders who weren't trying.!!!!!!!!!!!Joker rule is a farce .
