  1. Win as a Team lose as aTeam will be the explanation,on to the next fixture.
  2. Think our budget constraints and our Silly money policy will have change .IMO .
  3. Excellent Post most of my thoughts are similar, only my opinion though and like you say changes have be made to move forward but it won't happen.
  4. Don't change anything, then things won't get worse than they now.
  5. If it rains will the home team be keen to ride a wet track, they certainly were not at Ashfield on Sunday.
  6. The planning might include more than 1race ahead though,if the team manager is smart, plenty Plan B's options.
  7. Should that statement not have been made before the 1rst round.Poor excuse.Proving that a rider is fixing race will be difficult if done properly.eg Tape touch ,EF.
  8. Boxall cause the same problem a few years ago, they hadn't thought of that scenario either. The rule book is just a joke.
  9. These Countries have practice facilities that can be used every day .In GB there are very little opportunity to practice.Im sure there are many young riders that would practice a lot more if the facility was there.Poland be being a classic example of young talent coming through due to the facility to be able to practice most days.
  10. Just made up as it goes along,as usual. As you can see it is all about interpretation of the rules which there seems to be a few different views among the Promotions.
  11. I think it will be the Team with the most points over the 2 legs.!!
  12. I agree regarding Eric thought he would be a lot better this season very inconsistent from race to race.He has a touch of class though.
  13. Certainly not his dad as he died when Chris was young!!
  14. While for me they are performing above my expectations given their Team on paper which is what matter, but they as aTeam have not won anything yet.(I don't count the Pairs as aTeam Event).
  15. It's only the format of the Competition that would give Team GB any chance of a victory in the next 5-10 years .i.e,Jokers and Tac. Subs rides.
  16. Did he not ride later in the meeting? Could be wrong. It look really bad he was jammed between the fence and the lighting pylon.
  17. I think a lot of fans just give it a miss nowadays if it's a dodgy weather forecast because you just don't know you are going to see .10-15 heats, standing about while riders make up their mind usually deciding NO.its just not worth the money and hassle.
  18. While it was a good result for Team GB,for me Robert Lamberts effort and track skills showed how good he really is for someone so young where as Cook and King are easily brushed aside if they don't get a clear run and are "one line wonders" on a big fast track. These young Poles have everything speed, track craft and are world class.Cook and King are not IMO .
  19. Yesterday's match at Ashfield highlights to me why the jury is still out on the use of track covers. It is commendable to try and get a match on by the use of covers but is the effort laying and removing them really worth if the forecast at the time the meeting is due to start is not 100% dry and staying dry..The riders simply won't ride nowadays if it rains during a meeting as was highlighted yesterday. The track yesterday had a fair amount of shale on it and the track grade after what I would call as all small amount of rain was nessessary but the meeting should have been completed. The 2 races after Ht 11 were OK in my opinion the riders coped well yet the ref called it off when in fact the rain had ceased. It was obvious the Edinburgh were trying to get it called off for reasons of damaged limitation and it was a poor show from them IMO .Track Covers are not the answer IMO .Detuned bikes and shale on the track is what is needed.
  20. Thats how I saw it.Think he would have collected Jonsson if he had not got off.
  21. still trying to figure out how Ht 15 was not run,the rain had stopped the track was rideable IMO .Public short changed again .Health and Safety no doubt.Need to get brakes fitted next.Masters still suffering from night before IMO .
  22. 100%agre reminded me of these great BLRC meetings at Hyde Road.
